Don't know if you want to pin this but l have a 2015 base model CRV. Everything in this video went well except the grill and bumper cover come off as one piece.
I couldn't find a video for my 2015 anywhere and used yours which saved me big bucks. Thank you! 🎉

Lot more steps and moving parts than I envisioned, but thanks for the walk-through. Your patience with us amateurs is much appreciated. Not gonna say how long it took ME, but I'll forgive you for making it look so damn easy...😆
    Cheers!

I'll have to plan an extra hour to find the bolts I will inevitably drop. LOL Thanks for the trouble of filming this. You are a good teacher! And thanks for the tip on the front panel, as I will need to swap out my fog lamp bulbs.

Haven't even watched the video yet, but liked anyway just because of the fact that this video exists. No matter how much I include the word "assembly" in my searches, I've been mostly getting lightbulb replacement videos. Was looking for 2016 specifically but I figure this can't be too far different. Thanks!
Edit: Oh gosh, I wish I saw your video first before I entirely removed the bumper lol.

Thanks for your feedback. It’s a little easier with while bumper off, but it’s not absolutely necessary.

Thanks for the video. I was not expecting it to require these many steps. We just sold our CRV to my dad and was just about to pull the trigger on some brighter halogen bulbs but thought about going the step further and putting some new headlight assemblies mostly for looks since they don't really drive at night that much in that car anyways.
I think I'll save up and make it a birthday present for him...and throw in a new grille since it's gonna come off anyways and it's slightly cracked in one of the rear elements in the middle.

Take this opportunity to replace the stock headlight bulb with an LED bulb and the same for the fog light bulbs, much better vision with LED bulbs over the stock halogen. Great video! VERY HELPFUL.

I swear there is a ford engineer behind this concept. It's totally stupid to have to remove the bumper cover. I don't think it's a bumper cover anyway. Cause there are no bumpers on cars anymore. I'm using this as a reference for my wife's 2016. Because I cannot find a video for a 16. Thank you so much for doing this one I really only stopped on it because the headlights kind of looked the name but it's gonna help me I hope.

WELL that grill is held on by those YELLOW clips and apparently you are supposed to use a screw driver and wiggle it around each clip in hopes to unlock them ! I spent more than an hour trying to see and locate those clips with NO LUCK !!!! So I drove to the local body shop in hopes to get some help . They also had no luck and just decided to try to rip it off the car . Only one clip broke and I went to the Honda dealer and bought a new clip . I also asked how much they would charge to just remove the front bumper ? I was told $257 dollars because it takes 1 1/2 hours of labor ... ( what the HELL )

    • @JoesCarSmartsNY

@@JoesCarSmartsNY I was SHOCKED that they said it would take 1 1/2 hours just to remove a few screws and pop tabs ??? if it wasn't a pain to find and release those yellow grill tabs - I can remove the whole bumper in less than 10 minutes ! 1A Auto sells the headlight housing far cheaper than the dealer and they guarantee them to fit and last a long time ! I installed them on my 2002 Accord and a few years later they fogged up - they sent me new ones
