Wake up man its been years since Ive been looking for some one who has played this solo perfect that too in a tutorial. Keep playing and you will see how good youll get. Its the best All MY loving tutorial
Thanks Bernie. Nice version of the solo. The chords in the beginning are C#m, C#m(Maj 7), E. A few people asked for tabs. That's beyond me. I'll attempt a string(s) /fret(f) explanation. Bass run:5/2, 6/0, 6/2, 6/4, 6/5. Pinch 3/6 & 1/5, pinch 3/9 &1/9, 3/8 & 1/7, pinch 3/6 & 1/6, pinch 3/4 & 1/4, pinch 2/9 &1/7, pinch 2/7 &1/5, pinch 3/4 & 1/4, rake 3/2 -2/2-1/2-2/2-3/2, rake 3/9-2/10-1/9-2/10-3/9, strum open E (6/0-5/2-4/2-3/1-2/0-1/0), twice: 3/0 hammer on to 3/1-2/0, stum open E once.
Always wanted to play that solo part the right way thanks for doing it slow got it down perfect on my strat, now it's fun to play it. and complete, keep up the good tutorials and thanks again.
Great job. Don't listen to the negative comments. Lessons are supposed to make you think, not spoon feed you. Your lessons give me general hand positions and force me to search for the right sounding notes. In the end, people benefit more by exploring the fretboard. Thanks so much.
Nice work getting that ready ❤😁👍🙏🇺🇸 !!! When you play it with the guitar I can hear it a whole lot better and I really like it... thank you so much I'm going to have to try it now 💯🙂✌️🙏🇺🇸 !!!
Thanks Bernie! That chord in the chorus that you didn't know the name of is G# Augmented. Its a G# major chord with the 5th of the chord raised a semitone. Whats cool about the progression is that if you just play the top four strings of each chord in the chorus, C#min, to G#Aug, to E maj, all the notes in each chord are the same except starting at the first chord, you have c# on the g string, then c on the g string, then b on the g string, just by changing that one note you get all 3 chords.
Solid lesson. Very clear, and anyone who is familiar with the recorded version should find the close-ups of your hand positions to be all the need to crack the code. Thanks!
Good guitar work. It helped me to perfect my own version of this solo. Nevertheless, I understand why some are asking for a little slow down, haha. Thanks a lot!
It is a C#Maj7 chord. That progression is called a descending passing minor. The Beatles used that a lot. ("Michelle " for example) It us often written as an E7aug. Either name is correct, depending what note the bass is playing.
Bernie.. that chord progression is C#m, A (aug), E -- 3 shapes in a row at the 4th fret. (sorry if someone already venture that assist somewhere).. tnx for excellent lesson.
Thank you nice and simple. I play the guitar solo licks on the 1st,2nd,3rd,and 4th strings. That's the way George did it with some fingerpicking, but it is a little more difficult than your doing it only on the E,B and G strings. Your version will get me through until I master George's way.
Hey Bernie, I really enjoy all of your videos, thanks for much posting, this is a big help. Have you ever tried to do both solos at the same time on "And Your Bird Can Sing"? Still looking for some help on that.
Hey Bernie, I really don't know how you put up with the unappreciative characters out there who make unconstructive comments about your lessons. Thanks for bothering to do it at all. They really do help.
Aminor6 chord: you can play it without the barre using index/middle/ and ring fingers. Thus: open A 5th string, index finger F#(4 fret on 4th string), mid finger C on 3 rd string 5 th fret, ring finger E on 5 th fret. Sequence is: C#minor, Amin6, E major repeat Thanks for the solo post.
George was very fond of augmented and diminished chords -- I don't think he was playing the A string at all, which would make it an A augmented. Now I need to go watch the Ed Sullivan performance to check... oh darn! :D
It's correct that it's a "G# aug" chord, but because augmented chords can be inverted many times and still be the same, it's a little easier to think of it as an "E aug" chord. Same notes: G# - B# - E - G#. Either way, both chords have the raised 5th, but it might cause you a little less stress if you think of it as an E aug (with the 3rd in the bass), because an E aug easily changes into the E major chord, all you need to do it lower the 5th back down to a B natural. :)
Hey thanks dude. You are very good, I wish I can play like you. Honestly, I can grab the general idea, but that it. Keep going, you are very good. God bless you in Jesus name. Amén. MARANATHA.
The chord that you don't know the name of is an E+ (E augmented) and if you are going to do tutorials for songs maybe go chord by chord or note by note a bit slower for the people who aren't that proficient or like me can't see where your fingers are exactly on what strings exactly. Luckily I have knowledge of the guitar and can figure out what you are doing. Thanks!
Awesome lesson as usual Bernie! MANY thanks for taking the time to show us.
thank you thank you , this has always baffled me , . you make it so clear

thanks for the lesson. I like the sound of that Hamburg Guitar. Cool.

It is a very good lesson although I would like to admit as a beginner I would've appreciated a breakdown of each chord.

Thank you nice and simple. I play the guitar solo licks on the 1st,2nd,3rd,and 4th strings. That's the way George did it with some fingerpicking, but it is a little more difficult than your doing it only on the E,B and G strings. Your version will get me through until I master George's way.
Great.

George is hybrid picking on that solo
That unkown chord is in fact a G#Augmented. Nice video. Easy to see and hear what's going on.
Hey Bernie, I really don't know how you put up with the unappreciative characters out there who make unconstructive comments about your lessons. Thanks for bothering to do it at all. They really do help.
nice playing
graciasss !! me salio ....

The chords before the solo are C# minor, C#m major7, and E. Nice video brother.

good video
Its the closest to the real one i've found, thanks :) Do you have the tab?
This is capo'd to my ears. Second fret.
It is for sure. Think the solo is w/o capo tho
Hey thanks dude. You are very good, I wish I can play like you. Honestly, I can grab the general idea, but that it. Keep going, you are very good. God bless you in Jesus name. Amén. MARANATHA.
thanks, but the right hand wouldve helped, are you picking and pinching with your fingers?
where ca I find the tabs pls
arigatou from japan
Are you using a pick, chet atkins style, or finge picking?
I would like top learn this Van Halen style.
Pretty sure Lennon used the D shape E if I'm not mistaken.
Would like to see the right hand notes too thanks
One thing is to know how to play a song and other thing is to know how to teach it!!
Great job - you got right to it. Too many tutorial vids are waaay too much talk.
The chord is C#mMaj7. You should know that!
May I request WORDS OF LOVE intro and solo thanks sir
Tab sheet with diagrams?
those triads in the solo... are they
A, B, E, F#m ?
Yea can you please identify the triads? It is very difficult to see what is going on.
Eu que te ensinei... hahahahha...
You is fanat the Beatles group?
it almost looks like a rift but yet?
Hamburger and Cheez guitar
Nicely done. I can’t wait to try this out.
And a side of Glenn Fry
Yes, the chet aktkins legacy

Any chance of doing SHE SAID SHE SAID great videos
All of your videos would be great if you could slow it down.
tab dude please!
Caug is that chord.
embarassing ? is it a C#aug ?
I just cant get ouver your name....fucking badass
the solo is wrong. the technique is to hold a bass line with the high notes (typical George in the beginning)
My advice to you young man go to Justine Bieber he {she} would make a good teacher for you
The title says guitar lesson, not play through, slow down and tell us what your playing
Too fast to me, a begginer. What about a TAB?
Not the way they played it
Ugh too fast
I sing it in D min as my voice doesn't reach the Beatles keys, can you play it in this key?
if you sing it in dm then why not just put a capo where its in the key of dm then play it from there
