- In this video, I used a pulse sensor, an Arduino, and a Raspberry Pi to create a website that displays my heart rate in real time, and I used a tunneling service called "ngrok" to expose my local address to the internet. My code can be found on my github.

I actually have this idea like this for months, my idea was the user can make instructions on what to do if the person is dead, I.e. Delete their browsing history, send a video to the user family and such. Automating this would need a massive effort especially on checking up someone is alive or not reliably

set up a vpc and make post requests through the arduino or esp with wifi. This way you can publish the ip so we can track you. And you don't need to keep updating the ngrok url. Great vid btw

Are you sure it wasn't possible to use port forwarding? If you have a dynamic IP, you can use dyndns services like no-ip for them to automatically forward to your ip. And you don't even need to buy a domain, so this is completely free!

It's so better and simpler if tou just use esp8266 or a NodeMCU, it have an internal wifi, programable flash memory and so many other staff! you can also use libs to run a simple HTTP server or send requests

Could have probably done everything with a esp32 instead of needing a pi and a arduino or at least a esp32/8266 and a external raspberry pi which wirelessly streams the data from the ESP
