      Hi! Have any idea how to remove white dots on mirrorless camera even after sensor cleaning?

    Thanks! I've cleaned sensors before and it's been a breeze, but never on a camera with IBIS. I was nervous about that, but I'm glad to hear that there is the option of locking the IBIS in place for the cleaning.

      Hey yeah! Just go gentle and you'll be fine. I've been cleaning my sony sensors for over 2 years and never had an issue! I'm also a pro support member and I've been instructed this way as well by them on doing so! You got this!

    Hi Jason! Thank you for this great tutorial! I accidentally cleaned my lens without going into cleaning mode first. I just cleaned when my camera was turned off. Would there be any chance of my sensor moved or damaged by this?
    Thank you in advance.

    For all we know the sensor you showed was clean anyway? 2days later I’m returning after doing exactly what was said here. And apologies for my suspicion. I’m speechless at how clean our sensor is after doing this. It’s just as clean as the £60.00 pounds we spent getting a camera shop to do it. How ever I must say getting the correct sensor cleaner made all the difference. So massive thank you for your tutorial...

    You saved my life! At least my wallet. I was about to send my camera to Sony when I watched your video and just used the cleaning mode ( which hadn’t worked ) but then blew it out with the blower and NO MORE SPOT! Thank you.

    how much pressure do you apply when pressing the swap down?

    • @ImJasonAnthony
      @ImJasonAnthony  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Don't be afraid to apply pressure but not too much, just enough to know the surface of the swab is touching the sensor! The sensor will be locked in place so you should be pretty good!

    Crap!! Wish I saw this first before I wiped my sensor with an alcohol wipe... d'oh. I was in the field (obviously, an amateur) and saw there must be dust on my A7RII and so just cleaned it best as I could. Never had dust before with my A7II, 5D3, 40D, etc. in the past so wasn't prepared at all. F***!!! What should I do now? Is there a way to see if there was damage, or does it affect ability to get sharp images, or something else I need to worry about now?

    • @ImJasonAnthony
      @ImJasonAnthony  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would get the solution and swabs to remove any of the alcohol residue left! Should be fine tho!

    if I'm coming to a video on senor cleaning a sony.. I probably already know what those spots are.. I'm just curious about locking the sensor in position

    Why it’s easier to notice dust at 22 aperture than 1.8?

    Personally, I use a Post-it to remove the rebel dust specks on the sensor.

    Buy caps and cover immediately. Also if you're talking you're spitting. You just spit a few micro drops over your sensor while it was facing your mouth.

    If you read the manual, it will show that you cleaned the sensor incorrectly.

    oh no i blow too much of air on my sensor with mouth

  • @Thevikingcam
    @Thevikingcam 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What? No, NO. You NEVER EVER blow inside the camera at sensor with any blower, why? Cos the dust is now blowed deeper into the camera and shutter. This mat result as shutter damage, easily. Also you are missing maybe the most crucial step of all, the sensor brush. IF you not use that before the wipes you can damage the sensor even more, the dust particles can be still in the sensor and swipes now moves the dust particles on the sensor. After that you need to know what kind of liquid to use, not all sensor liquid can be used on a7 series sensor... Be aware.

      ok, which liquid should I use on a7 series sensor?
