This is my reaction to Unno Turharpuro - Sniffing Through Glass
In this video I reaction to Finnish comedy from classic Finnish comedy movie Uuno Turhapuron aviokriisi (1981).

After this Uuno goes to the police dog school and get training with police dogs.
That's true
Uuno is so obsessed with food that he can smell it from far away.
Most of Uuno-movies are shot in Helsinki, the capitol of Finland.
So is this one, based on the old logo on the bus.
The character of Uuno Turhapuro is almost like the Donald Duck... He even has a filthy rich, a bit "villainous" father-in-law, which could equate to Scrooge McDuck, I guess. Uuno also has similarities to Al Bundy from Married with Children. A bit lazy but lovable ordinary man, who has a sick obsession over food. :)
My favorite character from this movie is Rakastaja Nylkynen (Lover Nylkynen). He is a professional lover

I mean later in the same movie. This is mayde the golden era of Uuno movies 80s. I personally have them all in dvd and love all 20 of them!
Uuno Turhapuro in Finland are same what E.T. and Gremlins are in the world. Everyone knows its nostalgic and all these movies were at their peak in the 80s in same time.
The Uuno Turhapuro movies very mainly shot in Helsinki exempt the times they took place in the countryside (or Spain)
Uuno is like poor mans James Bond . There is no situation that Uuno can't handle😂

Those small kids Uuno greeted while running were actually his own sons.
Uuno Turhapuron Aviokriisi(the marital crisis of Uuno Turhapuro) It's the 6th Uuno movie. Not the best of Uuno movies, but ok one. First one that was in color. Basically the main plot is that Mining Councillor Tuura want's her daughter Elisabeth to get a divorce from Uuno(this is a common plot in the future movies too), and so he put's his secretary, Unelma Säleikkö on the job(this is the blonde woman from the "buns" sketch in the bar you watched earlier), to seduce Uuno and hires another man called "Nylkynen" to seduce Elisabeth. But eveything goes wrong as the man he hires accidentally seduces Tuura's own wife. Sideplot with Härski Hartikainen(played by Spede himself), who works togerher with Uuno's other friend, Sörlsselssön(Played by Simo), on Stiftel's Car Repair Shop, is about how Härski tries to lower his own pay to 300 marks/month, cause he is starting to try out the "become more miserable" philosophy, where he believes that if he becomes poor enough then he will begin to enjoy the simpler things in life, like even a single slice of bread.
After this scene, the police finds the man along with Turhapuro, and they discover his sense of smell is so good that they actually put him on a police dog training course, with the other dogs. It is silly but hilarious. And of course his father in law Councillor Tuura finds out about it from his secretary and get's pissed again.
This scene continues for the Police notices his skills, and takes him to become a police doge sniffer, just the training phase.
This is great! 😂 I love Uno! ❤ When I was little, these were absolutely fantastic, and it was great that this movie series was still being made back then.(Nowadays, I've seen them so many times that I almost know them all by heart.) I sometimes went to see Uno-movies in the cinema with my dad (who is no longer with us). Oh, those were the days!
Ah, I forgot to mention that what a nice video, I have forgotten this one!

Uuno's name comes from Spanish. 'Uno' means 'one' and in Uuno-movies there is this theme-song where they sing "Uuno on numero yksi" which translates as Uuno is number one. Heh, pretty clever!
Btw, Turhapuro: 'Turha' means pointless/useless/unnecessary etc. And 'Puro' means brook or similar.
It can also translate as "Uselessbeck".
There is also a theory that the name Uno/Uuno is a variation of the Scandinavian name Une.
Also, while _Uno_ may mean the number one in Spanish or Italian, in Finland _Uuno_ has meant _a stupid person_ for a long time now, and it's probably the reason for the name becoming unpopular.

Uuno is the laziest person in the world who loves to eat and sleep.
This is kind of the golden age of Uuno films, from here to Uuno Turhapuro menettää muistinsa, Uunon muisti palailee pätkittäin.. to maybe Uuno muuttaa maalle. Comedy gold.
Watch "Palkanalennus" (Salary reduction". It also from Uuno movies, but Uuno himself is not in this specific clip at all. However the scene is still very funny
Uuno has superpowers to get lazy and get food for himself, so thats all about Uuno to be clewer to get ewerything free and be chill.

No it's not illegal to sniff through glass 😀. The police officer thought that Uuno was drunk in public because he was kneeling on the street.
Recommendation for reaction video: Vempparen - Finland Edition, from the brilliant Finnish dark comedy show "Ihmebantu" (2009). Unfortunately it has no subtitles in English, but you'll certainly get the idea: Swedish mockumentary reality about Finnish wankers "betraying" their wives and girlfriends, parody of the legendary American TV reality series "Cheaters" (2000-2021).

Uuno movies are not so Good. They are more like a bunch of skits.
