@@thenewbladerunner My report: I couldn't find anything consistent. In my experience, over the last day, if you break all of the limbs, you run into that ending, hoping for the dash rng. My preferred opening was to run to the back(her left, your right) leg, and do 4 R1s. If the last R1 is on her foot, and you walk behind her, she'll dash back. While she's dashing, you can charged R2 her leg, that breaks the leg. L1 the arm following the charged R2, don't attack the head, Visceral. The next attack there is a stagger, and gives you an opportunity to R1, L1 L1, stop, R1 L1 the side dash for counter damage. Those R1 L1s you have a decision. You can go to her right arm with it and work into an R2 break, then moving into the next leg... That's "if" you're going for a circle of the limbs, this also means that the first limb she regenerates is the safe leg you're going to be strafing on... possibly giving you a visceral ending for a third visceral My most consistent method, though, was to do that open, through the R1 L1 for the counter hit. At this point, though, I've consistently been getting 1:15 - 1:20 second fights (yours is 1:10) by only focusing on that (her left, the pendant hand) arm and leg breaks, breaking nothing else the entire time, and just following the dash backs to get extra damage on her two broken limbs. Overall though, could not find anything consistent. Even if I delayed the second two breaks until after 50% health and could get there consistently, at 40% health she goes wild and the regen/superarmor makes keeping track of staggers out of my current league. SHARDS: I think you'll save 4-8 seconds by picking the following Central Yharnam Shards, One shard after bonfire behind the boxes(your second pick up) Then after cleric, to go straight to the upper sewer (which includes the hunter gear there, or reference) On the way there, there is a free shard pick up in path, beyond boxes. Then I think the in sewer shard may be faster than the bridge one. But I am confident about that sewer pathing being one second faster, not to mention the benefit of skipping that first shard you're picking up after the firebombs. Thanks for asking for my input. This is definitely not going to be an easier route. Might be competitive though...

Nice mate. I’ve been wondering all this time why Speedrunners don’t go for the Emblem.
Cheers! Its mostly just harder with less stats and pellets. But was fun to try something different and actually could be faster

Why you killing cleric its not orignal boss
You can either kill cleric or kill bsb to get to cathedral ward. cleric route is slightly faster
is this the new route ?
