Hey Heather, this video was extremely helpful to me, tysm!! I'm so happy the Lord led me to your channel! I believe my word for 2025 will be Gratitude and one of my goals will be incorporating everything I learned in this video and referring back to it when I need to! ❤
@@Douxlicious That's wonderful! I'm so glad that you found this helpful. I love hearing everyone's word that they have chosen. It gives me so much inspiration!!
My word for 2025 is "Focus". My oldest sister passed away very unexpectedly this year. Since her passing, i have been suffering from anxiety. My mind is everywhere and constantly racing. I need to FOCUS on the Lord so I can then focus at work and personal life.
Please pray that I’ll finally and safely get off Benzodiazepines. It has to be done slowly. It’s merely a physical addiction but also one of the hardest things to come off. The physical symptoms can be horrible. I was put on them at age 16 by a doctor after my first panic attack. I’m 44 now. It’s all a very long story. I didn’t know until 2017 that they were the majority of my problem. They damage our GABA receptors (those are our body’s natural calming mechanisms) but they can heal. Please pray that they will and that I’ll get over anxiety, grow closer to God and my closeness to Jesus overall and grown in faith. Thank you. Sorry for what you’ve been through.
I am going through the same thing. But I haven’t been on them that long. It’s maybe been 5-6 months! I didn’t know what the ramifications were. Where did you get all your information? I need to read and research. I know it’s online but there is so much to decipher. I didn’t know if maybe you had a book or something from a doctor. I am praying for you because I know that it is awful getting off. Recently saw that on. YT video. But I didn’t know what they are actually doing to our body!! Thanks
The Lord is with you through it all, Sarah! Thank you for sharing. I'm sorry that you have had to go through all of this, but thankful that the Lord gave you some answers with the Benzodiazepines. I wrote down your prayer requests, so I will pray for everything you mentioned, and for coming off of the drug. ❤🙏🏻
I have spent hours looking at "how to journal" and then by chance found your video. Thank you so much as it has been what I've been looking for. So sorry for your loss
I have a phrase for 2025: "step into my authority". Too many times I play down and don't go in confidence. God has opened my eyes to the need to go in confidence in spite of my insecurities and/or ignorance. I am filled with Christ and therefore have every skill needed to take on things according to His plan!
I cannot tell you how much this encouraged (and exhorted) me and was just what I needed to hear! Thanks for sharing, Terri! ❤️❤️ T H I S 👇🏻❤️ "I am filled with Christ and therefore have every skill needed to take on things according to His plan!" It reminds me of 2 Peter 1:3
I'm so sorry for your loss 😢. I'm so glad you have a wonderful relationship with our Lord. I lost my 24 year old child a little over 2 years ago and if it wasn't for losing a few other close friends the year before and also the same year, my relationship with Jesus wouldn't have been where it needed to be. What got me through was Daniel and his friends reminding me we go through tribulations all the time, but God is always with us in them. You're beautiful!!! Side note: I'm 57 years old, and after losing my 2 best friends, I'm terrified to develop close relationships, so vulnerability is a word I should focus on. I also know the Holy Spirit keeps nudging me to get more acquainted with my neighbors.
Thank you for the encouragement, and also I'm so sorry for everything you have lost. 💔 I keep reminding myself that the Lord bore all our griefs and sorrows - Isaiah 53. Praying for you, Barbara, that you will have the courage to be vulnerable and to reach out to your neighbours.
Good afternoon Heather. I stumbled upon your video today. I firmly believe God led me to it. First let me offer my sincere condolences for your loss. I was widowed at 43 and that was young. But I was certainly much older than you. I am a 64 year old grandma and going through the deepest depression since my husband died over 20 years ago. Please remember me in prayer. I am certainly adding you to my prayer list. God bless you. 🙏
Thank you, it's been a tough half a year. Just to clarify, John was a friend, a father figure to my husband and I, and he married us. I will pray for your deep depression and loneliness you must be facing. 💔 The Lord is with you and He will NEVER leave you nor forsake you. ❤️
Sorry for your loss. As you grieve, please share your heart so that we all can heal together. ❤️ 🙏 ❤️. My word for the year is ACT. I procrastinate and ask God to help me with that. 🙏
I love this! It's so easy too take back control in different areas of our life, but I was thinking this morning that the Lord is worthy...worthy of my everything. ❤
Out of all the videos I have watched for bible plans and related material, yours is the sweetest and most God centered I have watchd thus far. You humbly guide people back to Christ and I so appreciate that. I especially loved the way you bible "reworded" how to save money. That truly blessed me. I've never watched any of your videos before, but I am so grateful to have watched this one today. I pray the good Lord richly blesses you in your spirit and continues to comfort you in the upcoming new year, God willing! Many blessings dear!
Praise God that it was such a blessing to you! I was reminded recently that everything should point us back to Jesus, and it's been on my mind ever since then. The choices I make every day, my actions, the words I say, they should all point me to the Lord Jesus. Definitely something that still needs continual growth though!
Hi! New subscriber here. I have 2 words for 2025. Cherish and Serenity. Cherish bc I want to cherish my family and friends. Tell them I love them more often. In a blink of an eye people can be gone. Serenity for God's peace and comfort and calm I want to spend more quiet and alone time with Him. 5 goals I have- Give to a different charity every month ex St. Judes. Pay some bills off. Save money. God gave me the talent of cooking and baking. Cooking and baking new food items and sharing it with family and friends. Spend more alone time with my Heavenly Father. Tell my family and friends I love them more often. Please pray for my son Jack. He is going through a bitter divorce. His wife is being malicious. She wants the house and everything in it. My son will be homeless and he pays the mortgage. Thank you for the prayers.
Thanks for subscribing, Melissa! ❤️ Great goals, and I love that you are using the talents that God has given to you! I added Jack to my prayer list and will also pray that you have wisdom and encouragement from the Lord to give to your son. ❤️
