      1. Dream Home
      2. Higher paying job (livable wage at least!)
      3. Community Liaison
      4. Write a book / Sell my art and crafts
      5. Adopt a daughter

      1. Save at least $3,000 (in accordance with the program we're in).
      2. Utilize community resources and speak with local government officials to learn how to start my Community Liaison business and what it will take.
      3. Research higher paying jobs in the area.
      4. Start writing (consistently) and continue creating! Research other creative entrepreneurs and the average prices they sell their work and content for.
      5. Research adoption agencies and the steps I'll need to take to prepare for the adoption process.

      Save for down payment on house, develop professional development for the teachers on my campus, and make sure my family gets the best of me and not my job.

    12 weeks is so much more manageable than a year. When I think about a year, it's easy to think I have so much time. But 12 weeks? Talk about lighting a fire under my butt to move towards those goals!

    • @sisisworld
      @sisisworld หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      That's exactly why this (12 week system) is so powerful. It is a fact that the more time we are given, more we spent cause we always think "Oh, I still have time".

    I ❤❤❤ this "Get it Done!" grid, and because I have ADHD (and I know you did a podcast with Cass, cuz both of you are on my subscription list!!!) I am going to tweak it just a little bit. 12 weeks is too long for me to work toward a goal with no reward (or at least some form of acknowledgement). I'm going to keep the 12 week year and the "big" rewards, and I'm going to customize it with the "4 1/3's." I can work towards a goal for a month for a "mini-reward" that relates to my "Mega-Reward" that relates back to my "5 to Thrive." My brain goes down all kinds of rabbit holes to make those connections and it gives me life! Thank you! Finally a starting point that I can actually work from to make the changes and set the success routines that have been lapsed for longer than I care to admit! Actionable steps toward the Life I Want with rewards along the way! You won't get anywhere if you don't have a destination!

    Hi Amy, I just saw your goal for a dream home. I'm living in my dream home, but I need to CLEAN IT! I have about 35 years of stuff to de-clutter and a yard that needs work. I need to work on my cookbook, preserving recipes for my daughter (not to sell). I also need to write my family stories, again to preserve for my daughter. I want to decorate for Christmas in December.

    SMART goals simplified. Can you make it more relatable for the average full time working single mom who doesn’t aspire to be an entrepreneur, and can’t get a dream home in San Diego on one income?

      You have to figured out your own goals😂 people these days can't even think for themselves with all this social media and technology around. They want everything already though for themselves

      Everyone is in a different place in life.
      Just take her template and fill it with YOUR LIFE.
      This is something you do to get motivated to get the things needed done to move forward.
      You are a mom and only you can tell (if you are honest with yourself) what times you have to move forward, even if it is 20 minutes).
      Good luck on your journey!

      I was a young single mom, it was hard. Chart where you want to be (it probably wont look like today's reality) but that's the goal you set. The kids will grow up and be less dependent on you, and your time/energy/resources will grow. Do a dream board, no dream is too out of reach. I did it, and I accomplished it. You can too.

    This is great! One question: once we close the 12-week cycle, what do we do? We choose another 3 goals from the "10 to win" list, start a new 12-week year, and keep doing that until the end of the year/the list is empty?

    • @Stratsfinest
      @Stratsfinest 19 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I believe this is the right track there. You don't have to immediately start the next 12 weeks (you can set a break) but the idea is to focus on a set of goals within that timeframe as opposed to over 12 months which is less likely to work for most.

    What if I want to live in another country? How do I go look at homes? (Not that where I live is bad, but I found a house I'd at least like to see, if not buy, in Italy. It was for sale 5-6 years ago. I figure by the time I can afford it, it'll be for sale again.

      What she wrote down are HER goals! For you it might be to save 2000 $ or 2 mil $ in 12 weeks or not save shit and go travel to 5 countries in 12 weeks. Why do you get attacked by her saying she wants to save 10k in 12 weeks? Ask yourself this.

      These are examples. You don’t have to use what she’s saying as your own goals. You could say save $500 in 12 weeks if that’s more realistic for you. 🤦🏼‍♀️
