@@anthonydowling3356 not if you don't have money friend. that's not something that easily changed for everyone, especially if they live somewhere where flying is the only way to see the world.
Nice to get an update on your epic journey, look forward to part 2,nice accommodation, bet you can't wait to get back on the Bonneville when you get to Tenerife, safe travels👊🙂
Sunday mornings with Freddie, favourite time of the week 👌I think we in the UK will always be mileage snobs. I remember learning to ride in the late 90s and my instructor saying he wouldn’t buy a bike with more than 25k miles as he reckoned that was a high mileage. Then I watch riders in the states making vids about riding trans america, without giving a second thought to the fact their machines have 150k+ miles on them. My grandad always drove older cars and was fond of saying a well maintained car with high miles is a much better buy than a low mileage car that’s only done school runs and therefore has never allowed the oil to get to it’s optimum working temperature. Safe travels my friends and looking forward to the next video 👍👍
I LOVE this, and 100% agree! Three out of the past four of my cars have had 160k+ miles on the clock (all ran perfectly), and the only one that didn’t was a diesel smart car with 39k miles that the engine blew up on and I had to sell for scrap 10 months after buying😨
I always observe different angles on these videos, thank you for the tour, but what strikes me, is watching Monica following you while you live your dream and she is just there to assist you, that is a faithful woman in love. Make sure you treat her well and take care of her, because those are rare and hard to find these days. A woman that will surrender her dreams, her life just to help that man follow his dream. I can assure you, going on those tours and adventures would be meaningless and pointless without Monica. It is great to have a life companion.
I stumbled across this video when I got myself stuck in a TH-cam hole last year! And this was the exact series of videos that inspired my roadtrip because I couldn’t believe the little Fiat made it with no issues! So I came up with the idea to drive a little Peugeot 206, that I bought for literally driving to work and back and nothing else, to Gibraltar! During planning the trip, it soon grew arms and legs, so in may this year we set off….and bounced our way through 10 countries, hitting autobahns, racetracks, Swiss passes, coast roads, camp sites….allsorts! Nearly 4000 miles we did altogether, without a single issue, and it was honestly the best thing I’ve ever done!👌🏼 If it hadn’t of been for this video, I would NEVER have thought of doing something like that!👌🏼
Absolutely hooked ... unbelievably we've just watched the episode of u getting the boat from Tenerife to Spain fully loaded then realised its a series so gonna settle down and binge watch 👍👍👍 Shaun and Faye
Always cross your trailer’s safety chains. That way if the trailer comes loose the chains will cradle the tongue and keep it from hitting the pavement or worse, digging in on unimproved roads ( I know, it’s just an American thing )......ps. Ideally the chains should be hooked to the vehicle, not the hitch.
I subscribed right away and Im hooked. Enthusiastic presentation and great music. I'm living vicariously through you. Freddie, you've got a great presentation style.

Will the little Fiat 500 make it? Well if it's fuelled by your enthusiasm Freddie, there's no way can fail! What a lovely couple you and Monika make. Enjoy the trip and stay safe both. Looking forward to watching your adventure unfold!
I took a Piper Warrior out of Dublin and flew myself. Stopped off in Bristol, Bournemouth, Jersey, Nantes, Biarritz, Madrid, Badajoz, Jerez, Drove to Cadiz and got a Ferry to Lanzarote. Picked up another Piper Warrior there and flew to Tenerife South. Took me 3 weeks in total and really enjoyed it
Came across your channel while searching for the mutt motorcycle a few weeks back and can't get enough of your videos! You and Monika are great, you should have your own TV show! Good luck with the move and can't wait for part 2!
Your enthusiasm is so infectious. I can see your channel growing exponentially. Good luck on this new adventure and looking forward to the next installment.
Morning gang, sound is still excellent. 177,000 miles on a Fix It Again Tomorrow you must be mad, but with both of your amount of enthusiasm you will get there in one piece. Hopefully safe journey take care
So glad the sound quality’s good!! I can’t believe how solid the Fiat is- not even a hint of a problem- I can’t believe a Fiat is the most reliable, highest mileage car I’ve owned!😆 Thanks Richard!🙌🏻
Somehow popped up in my feed, so here I am and subscribed already! Very interesting, easy listening, fantastic enthusiasm, appreciate it 😃👍🏻 I’ll be into part 2 next……….
Sure you´ll make it - small italian and french cars have one thing in common. As soon as all the bits meant to fall off has fallen off, the rest will go on forever. 👍🎅☀
As I mentioned my Wife (Isa) is from Spain. We are not ready to travel yet from Texas to her family , some from Burgos. She won't even look at you and Monica's trip. Even I feel nostalgic cause I lived there 1970-75. Great job as usual.

Nice one Freddie & Monika. I got here via road trip vids of South Devon & Dartmoor, where I grew up and lived for 40 years. I am now some 75 miles North of your 1st night stay near Jonzac.

Had a few FIATs and every single one was great, loved my 60hp Punto 1, it was so good on long distance driving after 12h there was no strain at all felt. The Uno Turbo was blistering quick, really can't say anything bad about FIAT. The Punto 3 was a bit too Corsa to me.
Fantastic! Thank you for taking us with you! I love this video’s “sign off” with the inclusion of Monika’s smile, wink and wave along with you. So friendly and inviting for your viewers. Looking forward to Part II!

Great. I did a similar thing over 5 weeks through the west coast of the US about 15yrs ago - LA, Vegas, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Monterey, San Fran, Oregon, Seattle. Very exciting times I remember. Nothing like a road trip and seeing new sights.
@@FreddieDobbs once you’ve done Europe, I would highly recommend the west coast of the US. It’s a sight to behold and something so special. Follow the coast road up then into the giant redwoods towards Oregan. That’s for another day... Your enthusiasm is infectious. I will say this though, take time to chill out, properly. Being busy all the time will catch up with you and next thing you know it will hit you for six. Do proper relaxation and it will pay you dividends , maybe meditation.
