साल 1977 में भी राजेश खन्ना (Rajesh Khanna) उसी तरह की फिल्में करते रहे जो शायद उन्हें नहीं करना चाहिए था। काका ने फिल्म का चयन सही से नहीं किया। जिसका नतीजा ये हुआ कि उनकी फिल्मों ने दर्शकों पर असर दिखाना बंद कर दिया। फिल्म आशिक हूं बहारों का, आईना, जनता हवलदार और पलकों की छांव में.. ये कुछ ऐसी फिल्में थीं जो राजेश खन्ना को नहीं करनी चाहिए थीं।

In "Bhola Bhaala", Rajesh Khanna gave stupendous performance in double role.
One as a kind-hearted insurance agent(in his own voice) and another as a dacoit( In Kadar Khan's dubbed voice).But his facial expressions,body language and dialouge delivery were as per d requirements of both d roles.
'Chalta Purja' was another movie that didn't do well despite good performance.

Janta Hawaldar and Palko ki chhao mein- were good movies- it is a different story that those films did not do well on box office- since by then, Rajesh Khan's stars were falling. His acting and songs were good in both movies. Mehmood took advantage of Rajesh Khanna's popularity- he used names of RK in movie- Bombay to Goa, then he took him in Johny air Jinny as guest appearance. So why he is complaining ?
