Fans have been my nemesis since the Bob Ross Days when I learned to paint. I cursed him and his "Happy little trees" lol. Did the 1st few fan lessons fine. really struggled with this one a lot. I suspect my fan was just way to small. The only decent fan I have is a #2 Princeton. ( about 1cm across) It just wasn't working for this lesson at all. Have the #4 Sherpa fan on the way. will try again later.

Katty Artist Hi yes you do need specific fans for specific jobs. Here is a link to a five minute video that explains each of them. There are two links in the description to two fans that will work. If you take a 10 minute video and play it at 2x Speed, that doesn't make it a 5 minute video no matter how much you'd like to make a great 5 minute video. Still love your stuff, its all good. Just some feedback.
I always have a lot of different brushes. We’re still doing the two long lives over the weekend. But we realize now that people were busier they need a short lessons. That they would benefit from staying focused on a single topic. So the single topic for about a week will be fan brushes. The next week may be a different topic and art skill.

Katty Artist you need a synthetic one, or hogs hair one. The fluffy ones don’t work. Hope this helps.
