The Ain Soph of QBL and the One of the neo-Platonists sounds identical to the Egyptian teleology of Creation. In the Egyptian it was, I believe, Amen who created the universe while in a state of blissful self-contemplation.
My understanding is that with the doubles, each sound rules one of the planets' 2 expressions in it's 2 signs except for Sun and Moon. And it starts with Beit as created Saturn, then goes in Chaldean order, ending with Tet as created the Moon.

Yes, confuse sefir and sefirah! Sefir is related to the word for counting and numbers and to relate as in a story. Like count and recount in English
The sephirote are believed to be made of sapphire, where the word comes from.
The Revelations 22 chapters might be due to the alphabet itself, which is the basis of the 22 Paths.
Of course, anyone can read Aryeh Kaplan's books.
Strange, why only consider only 3 of the 4 elements for the “3 mothers”?! instead, I see the 3 mothers more connected to the 3 transcendent planets: Pluto ; Shin (ruler of the 'fire' sign of Aries by the Sun), Neptune ; Mem (ruler of the 'water' sign of Pisces by the Sun), Uranus ; Aleph (ruler of the 'air' sign of Aquarius by the Sun)... It also relate to the 3 modes this way, it bring all 10 planets with the 12 signs (= 22), it's more complete, making more sense ... (The number '3' relate more to 'modes').
No old testament, Hebrew bible or scriptures.
