@Contentibus that's funny because i think i had seen the er and ea in a sam ash catalog and decided to go to sam ash and buy the er1 because i just wanted a drum machine but they didn't have any at the store so i ended up getting the es1 instead. The funny thing is that even to this day I'm not really into sampling. Sure i use samples in my music from sample packs or weird recordings I've made but the act of actually sampling sounds into a device has never been of interest to me so the one and only sample i ever recorded onto the es1 is still on there almost 22 years later and i will probably never delete it. It's a long orchestral pad sampled from At the Heart of it All by Aphex Twin and it takes up the entire sample memory. It's like 30 seconds long or however much that thing holds.
Awww shit. Miss my Electribe Sampler. Some terrible person stole it from my friend's place ages ago. Still hurting over that. Should've never lent it out. Lesson learned. Such a simple but lovely machine.

I still have my electribe S as well. It was the first piece of electronic gear i ever bought back in 2000. Great job!
