Bro the ending literally had me tear up, I have so many good memories of playing old maps with my friends and I distinctly remember us spending hours during and after school hunting for proof of Herobrine and trying to summon him/build the Aether portal This was such a nice video
i remember digging out a 7x7 cave with my bare ass hands in the stone cause i was scared of monsters outside. I just dug down and made myself a nice little house. I even had a floating crafting table!
I just realized that if disk 11 is a recording that means somebody had to record it, now I've completely ruined all the horror for myself because I'm imagining the guy running for his life through the caves carrying a phonograph the entire time
When Update Aquatic was announced and people found interesting ambient sounds in the snapshots, I thought we were going to get more creepy cave sounds but for the oceans. That would add a bit of thalassophobia to underwater exploring. It's a missed opportunity, really. Edit: A few did make it, but they're just 4 "ultra rare" sounds you could only hear in the darkest areas of the Ocean biomes. We need MORE.
The end portals are made out of end stone, something that can only be obtained in the end, meaning the portals could have only been made by somebody that had already been to the end. I think enderman are the most likely candidate because they can hop freely between all three dimensions, they could have given humans the materials to build portals so they could go back and forth by themselves. That also means enderman had to be intelligent at one point, which I do have a theory about but I won't get into it right now
ahh the ending i related to so much. i really appreciate you sharing and mentioning the time you spent with your friends in minecraft. i ended up meeting my minecraft friend from across the country multiple times. i would spend hours with them on skype, just playing whatever servers on minecraft. it's nice to know i'm very much not alone with these experiences.
the final one about literally the end (not the dimension) hit me in the balls in terms of feelings. it's a sad thing i actually think about a lot. i want to re-live the past memories i had, and play old worlds my sister and i haven't touched since around when MCPE got witches, and so much more stuff, and re live our old realm that closed last year. i built an entire house of calcite with a copper roof, and an elytra runway. we had a potion farming room when you could drip water into cauldrons and get infinite potions, and oh my god was it nice. We are all still good friends, and have been for years now. Honestly the entire time writing this i have been crying a bit. you are right, the end of good memories is truly the scariest thing about minecraft.
Before being medicated for my anxiety I'd get so beyond paranoid that I was being watched by something while in the white plains of my snowy base at night, or while mining. I play peaceful mode, nothing would've hurt me.
That ending hit me so hard. Being someone who stayed with Minecraft through the golden age and through the dark ages. I've seen TH-camrs rise and fall. Hopefully, minecraft will stay with us till the end.
I Think What Made Herobrine So Creepy, Was The Uncanny Valley Of Him Even Being There, This Inhuman Husk Stalking You, In A World Where You Are Alone, And Thus Vulnerable, But That Horror Was Taken Away After The Theory That He Was Notch's Brother Dropped.
Oh my gosh, playing Minecraft in 2010 is the type of nostalgia that’s worth experiencing. One time i remember building a replica of my cat then turning that replica into a house with the actual cat inside (the cat’s name is Chloe)then i build a little pond with fishes inside. One day my older sister had an idea of making a diamond “rollercoaster”. I agreed to this idea, but sadly the idea was discontinued and the game was gone with not a single trace. it disappeared from the phone. (yeah i was playing bedrock edition) and well, it was one of the greatest moments of my life. hearing Minecraft music to this day i wish that i expanded both my world and cat house. moral of the story? Well…things in life don’t last forever, not even the greatest things. You have to appreciate them as much as you could while you still have time. It’s okay to lose something or someone. You can always try again. (Edit: oh god this is such a long comment)
3:50 actually it’s 3. In the 1.19 update, they added a new disc called “5” The only, way to get this disc is by finding 9 disc shards In the aincient cities, and then use them to craft the disc.
I love the cave sounds (specifically the older ones pre-1.17/1.18 and onwards). I love Discs 11 and 13. I love old Herobrine stories and the creepiness of older versions like Beta. I remember being so scared of these things as a kid, but nowadays I love them. Maybe it's nostalgia? Remembering those days where I had such fears? I can't be sure, but either way I have a lot of appreciation for the creepier aspects of Minecraft.
According to Game Theory, the mystery of Disc 11 and 13 is actually not as scary as people are making it out to be. It details one of the members of an ancient race of builders who lived in the overworld a long time ago taking a caving trip. During this trip, he(I assume it's a male due to the coughing sounding like a male) encountering many standard mobs like skeletons and creepers. The sounds are very quiet and echoey. but the traditional cave noises, the sound of a skeleton firing arrows, and a creeper exploding are present in Disc 13. Disc 13 is also the missing section of Disc 11, where the music disc cuts off abruptly halfway through, only to continue later. From there, he begins to run away from those monsters before being thrown forward from another creeper exploding, sending him falling into water
When I was a kid I was always scared of playing Minecraft alone, It just felt wierd like such a big world just for me combined with fear of Herobrine which means I never beat Minecraft because none of my friends played it at the time.
Honestly the only thing that creeps me out is the warden. When ever it’s around, darkness appears and you have that unsettling feeling like the only two things alive are you and that warden. Creepy af bro
also the possible lore of most of the mobs is scary! enderman are theorized to be humans who had to evolve to live in the end, zombies and skeletons being literal undead, vex who are probably some corrupted spirit etc
The most scary part of Minecraft is indeed the fun times in Minecraft that will never happen again.... Made some online buddies back than whom I'll never see again.....
My first time playing minecraft all alone, I was stranded on a series of islands and I couldn't find any mobs at all. Then I heard the creepy ambient cave noises on one island and I noped out of there.
I remember the first time I ever saw an enderman. I was really young and I was playing survival for the first time with my dad, it was also both of our first time playing. We had no idea what it was and we were terrified, it was hilarious looking back on it. I really want to play that world again so I can see how I use to play.
2:24 Minecraft Cave Sounds are Creepy, And theres the Crash Theory, Based on the Cave Sounds, And a Bit of Disc 11 {The Broken Disc}, But that has Sounds of Running, And a Creature, So either more on the Caves Sounds, Or the Guess of it being Herobrine Related, Which is Unlikely!
Yeah the guy just turns around and the figure disappears lmao. Herobrine never really held up ever if you thought about it for more than two seconds lol.
I want to believe some games are truly immortalized due to the community that inhabits them, so long as there is a way to play these games even when technology advances, there will always be someone playing.
Another scary thing to think about is if your world is modded, like imagine a world where you spawn in and a bunch of random creatures that will maul you like parasites, dragons, otherworldly constructs, demons, ect. You get the idea.
Me starting to become depressed after remembering all my Minecraft memories with tommie who was my first freind who I haven’t seen in like 3 or 4 years
I had some good times playing on my xbox 360 with my friends and my brother and I used to get excited with every TU that came out, to be honest I did get scared when playing alone thinking that Herobrine was in my world watching me. I remember me and my dad playing the tutorial version on my xbox 360 and then my dad finally bought the game for me in June, I played the game so much from 2012 to 2014 when I finally got my Xbox One, sadly I never got the Xbox One version, to this day I still have the xbox 360 Minecraft achievements unlocked, it says my first ever achievement that I unlocked was "Cow Tipper" which I unlocked on 16th June 2012, nearly 10 years ago
Hey, I know it might be a stretch but I had a friend who had a similar voice to you who moves away about 8 or so years ago, we used to play stories in the front yard, play minecraft, and some other video games. His name was Issac, but things happen, if you're out there, let me know
I remeber this one time i was in a mineshaft i was alone in the house and the game wasnt playing music it felt surreal i kept walking there was tension in the air my brain was filling with "behind you" and " in the window" (i was in my room my curtains drawn and it was 11 pm) so i had this sinking feeling i was being watched so you try to end my feelings i watch youtube whule playing it helped but i still remember that feeling
One time I was in my minecraft world and there was a crater with dogs I didn't tame wearing white collars it's still the weirdest thing I ever saw playing minecraft
Whenever I play mine craft me and my lil sister would hear violin ambience although there are no dangerous monsters near and we aren’t in a cave it’s very creepy
'all worlds will come to a end'... especially on the 360 version... my sister and i had made a couple maps on the 360 version with varrying maps and builds.. and yet.. dunno when, but for whatever reason.. they were all reset.. it sucks.. but that ain't the lesson here. the lesson is the memories we made along the way
When I was younger and really into Herobrine stuff, I started getting continuously attacked by air until I died. Looking back now, it was definitely a glitched mob that was invisible but it fooled me completely back then
The scariest thing in Minecraft for me is bridging over a lava pool in the nether and suddenly hearing a ghast scream.
FR
Im scared of lonely
Yeah that's scary
@@animefanno.2577 cause i feel like something gonna jumpscare me
I’d know I’m dead and jump off the bridge into the lava.
I bet whoever originally made the Herobrine story is very proud of himself. He legit made a creepypasta that Mojang essentially made canon.
Sadly they never put him in the game
@@pastamanfilms2525 Well they stopped trying to remove him, if that counts for anything.
@@pastamanfilms2525 Fairly certain he inspired the Evoker though.
@@Imperials3nate oh i see
@@pastamanfilms2525 In fact, I feel like the Woodland Mansion, it's inhabitants and the mysteries within would've been perfect for this video.
Why does this video make me more sad than scared it's just it brings so much nostalgia I feel like I'm actually tearing up
Your not alone bro, I’m still terrified of Casey’s cave, In a nostalgic way
You just explained the reason, duh.
Bro the ending literally had me tear up, I have so many good memories of playing old maps with my friends and I distinctly remember us spending hours during and after school hunting for proof of Herobrine and trying to summon him/build the Aether portal
This was such a nice video
Fun fact: The ghasts sounds are slightly distorted version of a developer’s sleeping cat.
Actually Its C418's cat, he made music and did not develop the game
He developed the music for the game 😅
@Octopus Fun fact: I love cats, so now I hate whoever killed the cat
@@knqpw noone acctually killed the cat dumbass
@Octopus Fun Fact: You're an local attention seeker
i remember digging out a 7x7 cave with my bare ass hands in the stone cause i was scared of monsters outside. I just dug down and made myself a nice little house. I even had a floating crafting table!
This definitely isn't intentional, but playing in minecraft creative just out of boredom gives me a bone-chilling amount of emptiness
To me it doesn't
Minceraft is a horror game confirmed. Examples are...
The Warden
Disc 11
Disc 11
Cave sounds
Disc 11
Warden
And disc 5
I just realized that if disk 11 is a recording that means somebody had to record it, now I've completely ruined all the horror for myself because I'm imagining the guy running for his life through the caves carrying a phonograph the entire time
Disc 13 is creepy too
Nether Sounds
Ravager

Tbh they probably still are, the player just can’t understand them. They do seem to speak with those chirping noises
I think the lore states that endermen is highly intelligent
retrogamingnow has a video on endermans, its interesting
If I recall, being still and looking at the enderman for a prolonged amount of time causes it to go back to its docile state

That last segment made me feel old.
I was already 19 back in 2012 which coincidentally was the first time I myself played MC, feels like yesterday.
Someone make a perfectly cut scream comp on this
The scariest shit experience been in minecraft is when my dogs just randomly just disappears while it took me 2 hours just to get 6 bones 💀
The MC cave sounds actually used to be WAY creepier but sometime after the microsoft acquisition they toned them down
Wow these are some good videos I know what I’ll be bingeing for the next few days
Fun fact, in the end if you listen closely you can hear music that would play in the over world but it’s slightly distorted

the scariest minecraft thought is that one day you will place your last block.
The scariest part about open world sandbox games isnt the fact that you're lonely but the thought that someone is there, somewhere, watching you.

Wonderful video and one of my favorite channels 💖
For me it is the possibility that because of a glitch a zombie gets into the village, because I play on hard and this would suck.

the scariest thing is bridging over the void at the end. shit gets me shaking
7:09 hmm yes sandstone
him: listen to how minecraft feels without music
me: well umm i don’t play minecarft with music…
i love your vids. thanks for uploading
My pleasure, thanks for watching!
@@PixelsAfterDark and thanks for noticing my existence :)
I really want to play that world again so I can see how I use to play.
i think the endermen are the ones who made those end structures
Pause on 3:47 (That will happen if you press "Shift" to many times, and the audio will also play)
16:22 bruh what about disk 5
The music that plays in the end is what scares me the most
2:24
Minecraft Cave Sounds
are Creepy, And theres
the Crash Theory, Based on
the Cave Sounds, And a Bit
of Disc 11 {The Broken Disc},
But that has Sounds of
Running, And a Creature,
So either more on
the Caves Sounds,
Or the Guess of it
being Herobrine Related,
Which is Unlikely!
Yeah the guy just turns around and the figure disappears lmao. Herobrine never really held up ever if you thought about it for more than two seconds lol.
whats the music at 2:27 ?? also if u have pets in game ur not rlly alone
I want to believe some games are truly immortalized due to the community that inhabits them, so long as there is a way to play these games even when technology advances, there will always be someone playing.
About the alone one; You're not scared that you're alone, you're scared that you're NOT alone...
Man the memories, disc 11 is so fire
Another scary thing to think about is if your world is modded, like imagine a world where you spawn in and a bunch of random creatures that will maul you like parasites, dragons, otherworldly constructs, demons, ect. You get the idea.
i know im not the only one who laughed when the villager said "hi friend" and dies
despite this being a year ago, that ending hit hard, also I relate with almost everything here
Me starting to become depressed after remembering all my Minecraft memories with tommie who was my first freind who I haven’t seen in like 3 or 4 years
I had some good times playing on my xbox 360 with my friends and my brother and I used to get excited with every TU that came out, to be honest I did get scared when playing alone thinking that Herobrine was in my world watching me.
I remember me and my dad playing the tutorial version on my xbox 360 and then my dad finally bought the game for me in June, I played the game so much from 2012 to 2014 when I finally got my Xbox One, sadly I never got the Xbox One version, to this day I still have the xbox 360 Minecraft achievements unlocked, it says my first ever achievement that I unlocked was "Cow Tipper" which I unlocked on 16th June 2012, nearly 10 years ago
minecraft most scariest thing for me that i dont play it Anymore: alone, cave sounds EVEN ON LAND. (HOW), Dark places.
Great job bro this should be FAMOUS
4:30 How does your Minecraft look so realistic? Are mods being used?
cmon man ederman is straight up terrifying
13:11 my heart was getting warm
I loved when we had fun and mess around
We all want to time travel
1:38 that's just Tom's scream. That is, Tom and Jerry.
One time I was in my minecraft world and there was a crater with dogs I didn't tame wearing white collars it's still the weirdest thing I ever saw playing minecraft
Hey pixils, are you going to do a video on luigi's mansion? After all, your youtube icon is king boo.
This is going to be scary your the best TH-camr
Thank you Daniel :)
@@PixelsAfterDark makes a part 2 please! I would love that
I mostly play with a video on so it’s super creepy when there’s nothing on and it’s creepy when it’s night
Whenever I play mine craft me and my lil sister would hear violin ambience although there are no dangerous monsters near and we aren’t in a cave it’s very creepy
'all worlds will come to a end'... especially on the 360 version... my sister and i had made a couple maps on the 360 version with varrying maps and builds.. and yet.. dunno when, but for whatever reason.. they were all reset.. it sucks.. but that ain't the lesson here. the lesson is the memories we made along the way
14:36 that hits hard wtf
So nostalgic
Can im ask you why we need eat meet Uncooked in minecaff
4:52 I thought the end of this video
Herobrine is an actual player, which is funny because someone actually became their friend
Him: Listen to Minecraft without music.
Me: Don't leave the trees floating!!!!!!1
Him: you are alone in Minecraft
Me: m i n e c r a f t r e a l m s
0:39 i don't wanna sound annoying But can anyone told me the name of the song?
Not gonna mention the skulk, end music, igloo, etc?
Only OGs remember herobrine, veterans remember Casey’s cave…
I laughed on that cut scream compilation🤣
1:54 But thats a cat sound
That ending hit hard
For me the scariest thing about the game was that time I saw a block mine itself in 1.7.10
When I was younger and really into Herobrine stuff, I started getting continuously attacked by air until I died. Looking back now, it was definitely a glitched mob that was invisible but it fooled me completely back then
Ayo what😰-
Great video! You’re a third of the way to 100k; remember me when you hit that goal (which should be soon)!
9:17 that'd actually how I prefer to play lol music off but every other sound up
1:27 - 1:30backrooms level ! be like
one time when i was little i saw herobrine in Minecraft i almost had a heart attack.
actually there are 3 horror discs now, not just 11 and 13 but also 9
Suggestion: Everything scary about Plants vs Zombies?
If the Endermen are humans who were trapped, then how did they end up on the overworld...
