8:30 points loaded speargun (out of water) at the ol mate and rattles it 😅, great to see you having fun, but for hobbies like this safety is imperative. Stay safe out there fellas 🙏and keep up the great work 😮
Hey mate. Thanks for the comment. Its algood the speargun was unloaded. Its a roller gun were there is already tension in the rubbers before you pull back and attach it to the spear. Happy hunting 🤙
@@northernkiwis ohh snap my mistake smh, can tell I have been outa the game too long as I'm not up to date with today's tech 😒 might be time to dust off the fins and get them wet again. 🤙
BRO!!! put my paua back!! lol... Have always loved diving in Welly. Just don't eat anything taken within 2kms of Moa point... thats wellingtons sewer outflow
Hey bro, go pro hero 7 black will be your best bet. And if you want a more crisp image dont put it in a housing makes a massive difference. If your diving over 10meters put it in one though as the camera stops recording. Have lost alot of awesome footage because of that. Hope it helps mate. Stay safe 🤙
Ah nice I went out for my first dive today at Makara came back with nothing unfortunately I have a 5mm wetsuit and couldn't stay under long enough to harvest paua as I was far too buoyant but this was only in like 2 metres of water was I just too shallow or do I need more weight?
Hey bro, yeah defs need more weight if your too buoyant esp with the 5mm. As a rule of thumb its roughly 1kg of weight per 10kgs. Hope this helps, good luck for your next dive, happy hunting 🤙🏽

Don't dive with a woman 😂
Haha 😄 I love the comment but don't think the partner does....
little sexist don't you think
@@northernkiwis She wouldn't be too happy with your reply either.
What a wanker. Why not? Some really good female divers out there and some really crappy ones. Or is something else?
