Nice 250r. I just did a ground up rebuild on my and I can’t take the chance riding there, even though I’m so close lol, couldn’t imagine getting taken.
There's dozens of ways in and out of that place, especially on a dirtbike... Look on google earth...Obviously i see cops, i go the other way, but they don't seem to look twice at the two wheelers especially if you're street legal...I believe it's more the SxS and large groups camping, attracting too much attention, dumping garbage and ultimately drowning in the lake that concerns them.
i worked at a liquor store nearby, had a good dude who would come in frequently who grew up on the trails basically. he let me know there was a giant sting due to numerous complaints by the old folks. they nabbed over 40 people and its a pretty serious crime trespassing being on private property. its pretty ridiculous
My older cousin and his friends use to ride out there he told me story's of how they all got busted and his bike and friends 4 wheelers all got taken from them. I wish i could go out there to explore but i don't even have my drivers license yet and i dont feel like getting caught and getting my dirt bike taken are there any legal riding areas in Nj?
I don't know of any legal riding spots.... If you're registered and insured you have less to worry about. Fireroads are legal to ride on.... as far as Sarco goes, park in a legal spot and ride in...... If you're with a large group hanging out in a open spot you're easy prey....If you're with one or two guys and keep it moving, you shouldn't have a problem
Damn, I used to ride there back in the day. After all the deaths and other shenanigans on that lake, I am surprised they don't patrol there daily. Cool place though
Ha! I met that guy on the 250R one day there just last December, actually about exactly a year after the date of this video. He was by himself at the time and me and my friend rode with him! I got his phone number to keep in touch, hopefully we can meet up again this spring/summer when the weather gets better. I should upload the video on my channel some time!
