Love this and your maokong vlog. You guys really know how to enjoy yourselves and film a cute vlog :D I will take these recommendations for my upcoming trip~
Which side of Taiwan is this located? Is it Hualien maybe? I have been to Sun Moon Lake, Kaoshong, in and around Taipei but never heard of Tamsui. That's a new one for me! Thanks for the quick tour!
Hi Alex, its located near Taipei. Tamsui aka Danshui is the most Northern stop on the Taipei MRT Red Line. It takes about 40 mins from MRT Taipei Main Station to MRT Tamsui. This area is right outside the MRT Tamsui to the right(2 mins walk). There is a Riverwalk and a Laojie that runs parallel next to the Riverwalk behind the buildings. The Laojie is where you can buy Iron Eggs and the Giant Jiggly Cake. If you take the Ferry to Bali Peninsula there is a similar Riverwalk with street food and restaurants but its a bit shorter. Bali side is more relaxed and chill lots of people ride bikes there and has this island vibe. Most tourists never make it to the Bali side because the Tamsui side has already so much to see to take up a day. There is also Fort Domingo(Spanish Fort) in Tamsui which I didn't film yet.
Cool, yea that boardwalk is really fun, there's a smaller boardwalk right across the river called Bali. Take the ferry across it has an island vibe on the other side hope you can come back soon!

We removed most of the sound effects from future videos since most people don't prefer them.
Can you tell me who the others are who did prefer them?

Really great videos. Gave me ideas for my trip there next month. Can I ask do the vendors only accept cash? They accept credit cards?
Hi Joby, the street food vendors only accept cash. If its a store they might accept credit card
is it better to come here in the afternoon or morning?
I think either is fine, some stores may not open until 11am
hi is this bali or fishermalls wharf?
Tamsui not Bali.
Uuyyy que rico
content of the video is good....except for the silly sound effects (the swooshes, springs, sawing noises...) - stopped watching due to those alone.
Sorry about that I stopped using it on future videos
Was it worth the trip to danshui? Going to Taipei next week.
