Honolulu burned in 1887 and 1900. A large dump was in the shoreline swamps. By 19l8 the ground was ideal for the California Packing co. and Dole canneries. You guys are Picking up Litter. Haviland was an American exporter from Limoges, and set up "Havilznd et Cie., Limoges" the region where the potteries were/are. I've found broken Bayview Brewing. Seattle Wash. Here 3 times. What a great site, so much neat stuff

That was a cool dig, very interesting gear buried there for sure, I cracked up when you pulled that busted figurine out and said she was over dressed for the occasion, you've got a good sense of humour mate.

Ned Part 2 was fantastic. I enjoyed looking at all the different bottles that were dug. It is cool when you show us the advertising to what you've just dug. Very informative. Would definitely like to purchased some bottles from you. If it is possible let me know where or how I can get in touch with you. Take care Ned and stay safe.

I love malt beer. Drank a lot of it when we lived in Germany. I heard it was good to drink when you were pregnant. I am in Stuttgart now dealing with family issues. Might see if I can find one in this state.

Really enjoyed that. Guessing you get permissions from the city or the construction company for a couple of days till they come back in. If that's the case that's pretty sweet and wish you had more time to dig it all up.

So gins there are not square "case gins"? Digging for bottles in Hawaii, where San Francisco was "America" for the later 19th Century. In my big 2009/10 digs I had the labels from 100 years ago that would fade in air. The person pulling a cart might be a rickshaw puller, Chinese? "Haviland et Cie Limoges for the Hawaiian Hardware Co. Ltd." Limoges is the region of France, Haviland was an American importer of porcelain. I found the same Jacksons here too. Over on the Benicia flats, near the bay a lot of Hawaiian bottles show up. When I lived in Waianae I dug a "John Loeffler (monogram) San Francisco" pickle jar, one of ten known according to a c1980 bottle book. Sift and find coins & tokens! That Lashs porcelain cap is great. The "Bartlett Mineral Water" caps I've found here, and Hawaiian ones. Rainier had a Brewery here 1905-20, but none of the stuff is marked Hawaii, only Seattle Brewing & Malting.

I dig what you do and, the way you do what you do. I consider myself a stealth digger. I’ll trespass in a NY minute if I think there’s something to see…Is that wrong?
