Ned, love your videos! I think you misspoke at about 25:08. You said the seam was made when they pressed 2 halves of the bottle together. The seem on machine made bottles is from where the 2 halves of the forming mold meet (like a clam shell). The extruded molten glass blob is sandwiched inside the 2 mold halves and blown into it. At least that's the way it has been done in the last 60 years or so....

True on the bottles of that era..Indeed the common kick up wines and champagne of that time won't be seen on any bot show tables,unless they're in a 50cent box..however such bots that have interesting provenience,such as retrieved from a notable site such as the wreck of the titanic..then they are priceless
