You came out swinging with those first 2 shots! I don’t think it’s cheating to do a pre-walk but I’m sure it would be way harder without 😅
Yea partially I think that’s because I was going back on myself and partially because I knew I’d set the timer! 😂 I don’t think it is, I hadn’t planned any shots before setting the timer and didn’t have a set route 🤷♂️😂
Nice work man! Favourite shot was the flags + shadows on floor 🙌🏼 Been a very sunny/bright couple of weeks! ☀️
Yea I really liked that in black and white too! Been super sunny and bright, need to get better at summer shooting 🤣🤣
Nice Street shots 🔥
Thank you man! Appreciate that 🙏☺️
Man Colchester has changed alot, lion walk looks alot better now bar the lockers 🤣🤣 great shots mate love the building one early on 👍
Yea it’s always changing! Haha yea I did an edit and they were gone 😅 thank you mate, I was especially happy to have spotted the building one! 🙏
Nice shots bro
Thank you man! Appreciate it! 🙏
Great video to watch, you captured some great photos, love the doorway shots you captured and the reflections in the windows.
Thank you! I absolutely love the reflection shots usually (didn’t know if they would work in Black and White!) definitely something worth trying out! 🙏
@@Allikkx I'd love to attempt more street photography more in the town where I live, newbie nerves of taking photos of strangers. They really work in Black and White.
@@Eddiepittphotography yea, I really get that too..the nerves to take some shots is a hurdle a lot of us all face. It does get easier, slowly! I’ve always found if someone questions my intentions to be super friendly and respectful and show them (especially if it’s a good shot!) a lot of the time they’ll ask if they can have it or be tagged in it! 🙌
Great vid buddy I use a 35mm and 50mm prime all the time I find it makes you move more for the shot and see different perspectives 🤙🏼
Thanks man! 🙏 That’s cool, I’d love to shoot a 35mm prime or the 16-35mm 👌 just gotta use what you got! Would be nice to try a 35 though!
In the future, just put the camera lcd to show b/w 😊 gives you a better idea 😊
Yea I literally have no idea why I didn’t do that?! 😂 Sometimes the brain just doesn’t kick in!
@@Allikkx it's called 'living in the moment' 💪😉
Haha I like it! 👌😂
Oops, I thought from the title you meant 35mm film format not focal length of lens. Good street shots though.
Oh sorry! (I should probably put 35mm focal length or something). I do have a Canon AE-1 that is due an outing, just indecisive about film cause I’m very very new to film format 🙂
@@Allikkx I'm sure you'd do well with street photography with film because of your good eye. Interestingly, it was when I inherited my older brother's Canon AE-1 a few years ago that got me started with shooting film. I pick it up (or my other film cameras I got from thrift stores) every time I just need to slow down my often hurried pace in taking photos or life in general :)
Yea definitely on the list to give it a proper go, I’ve used the camera but mainly just to get used to using it! I could see how it’s a nice change of pace for shooting (something I definitely need to do is slow down a little more!) 😊
