Why others saying its top-tier traction? Good to hear another perspective. KD14s my favorite for max cushion and step-in comfort. You got something similar that competes with KD14s?
I returned this shoe for one reason, and that was because of the bump at the intersection of the tongue and upper. This shoe is just so low and the material digs into my upper feet and makes it impossible to play in.
The place where they bend in the forefoot can be a little uncomfortable on top of the foot, but otherwise I'm loving them so far.
The traction definitely won't last that long on gritty surfaces though, just too thin and soft.

Alright me being from Minnesota Ant does not need to be on a national team. We need to win a championship because look at Milwaukee because now that they won a championship no one says that anymore. I will say if Minnesota keeps down those turnovers I see them going far but if not we will be one and done. All I know is watching the kid play every night has been so much fun. I plan on buying every pair of his to support him for sure.
agree, the shoe review was great and although I get the slight point for marketing, Ant being and staying in Minnesota is good for him, the team, the city, and the league overall. We do not need more "created" superteams around the league. Minnesota having a bonafide star to build around is absolutely the best situation for everyone. Love to have AE on my Hornets though (LaMelo is really good but his injuries are derailing his and the team's growth).

Has 2 open Shoe laces hole loops in inside of shoe which cuts into the roof of your mid foot.

That’s why harden’s are better for that

I wear size 9 on J1. What would be my size on AE’s?
I bought a pair, and they don't match the size. I'm a size 7 UK narrow fit, and my feet don't even fit in because the shoes only open a little, and the fabric doesn't stretch. Even with a larger size, the first four holes of the lacing system start before the tongue, so the first laces are on the top of the feet and apply more pressure. All my Adidas are size 7, and I had to choose 8 in this model.
Would you recommend any cleaner for the scuffing?

I have never rolled my ankle so many time with any other shoe. Shoe is way to heavy, it’s actually crazy 3 times in 1 month and this last time was so bad I’m not playing basketball till I buy a new shoe cause besides being comfortable and a nice shoes, the con is just too much
AE needs to go to the BULLS. AE 1 gives you a good bite of traction and adds to your torque during fast breaks. Really a great shoe.
as much as I am convinced that it is a good performing shoe, the looks personally I think is an acquired taste. kinda gives u a trypophobia vibe to it.

I feel like im 10 years younger when i trued one today for the first time ballin..lol..very good ankle support. I just dont like when putting them on its so hard to put on the heels.but once your in the shoe is a beast.. i am flat footed too but this shoe is good.kinda heavy. My AJ36 and dame 8 are lighter.

I have the "best of adi" colorway and I had to go half size down on these because the toebox on these are long.
2nd color is my favorite im a pick up a pair. Rite now I have the Don Issue 3, Nike Freak 4, Kyrie 3 low, Kyrie 7, 2 pair of Nike GT Jump and Lebron 15. Trying to replace all my Nike basketball shoes with adidas.

The shoes should have an identity with the player. Like Jordan and Kobe. If you see them you can tell who's shoe is it right away. Antman and Lamelo and the nike Kyrie shoes has that identity design with them. Can't even tell Lebron and Durant's shoes if you see them in public.

Don’t know what takeover is and I’ve been posting open runs in my reviews for a while. Just not the main focus. Those TH-camrs who post those open runs play basketball 24/7 by the way haha. People who’ve been following me for a while know I can hoop already but if I have more time I can make content like that.

@ralphsalva8276 I was looking at the Nike Hyperrev 2015. I tried them on back then at the nike outlets and saw a pair on Mercari. Might just go with Hyperrevs since they're 30$.
