    Thank you so much for sharing your tips! I’m currently doing a YTT and just starting on my queues, and finding it a little difficult to balance between a straightforward vs. feeling way of instructing a pose. This way of combining the two has me inspired! ❤️

    So it means your directives rather suggestions are towards mindfulness... that's the basic principle of yoga.. whatever you are doing...do it with mindfulness... Dhyan-Concentration a stage in Yoga doctrine..so you take a pose and concentrate and feel what has happened in and around your body..mindfully... Nice One 👍

    how i can increase or inhance my reflective and emotional cueing vocabulary when teaching yoga ? coz i've been teaching for a while now and i feel like im beeing repetitive during my classes!

    • @RachelScottYoga
      @RachelScottYoga  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hallo! Excellent question~ first I would say: repetition is normal and useful. Students needs to hear the same thing again and again because yoga is a practice of mindfulness...so I want to just assure everyone out there that repeating yourself is okay. If you want to spice up your cueing, then consider how to what you are saying could be relayed in imagery. Ask yourself where you see and feel this in nature ~ what else is it similar to?

    This is phony yoga. Real Yoga is all about the Hindu religion. Why steal from the Hindus? Why not do the right thing and become Hindus and then maybe teach? Or, just stay out of the yoga business.

    • @himanshuthakur2314
      @himanshuthakur2314 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      This is too narrow an approach. The least yoga has anything to do with something is the word religion. And stealing yoga?? I mean c'mon boy! Is it your 50 Rs note which can be stolen?
      And one needs to be a hindu to persue yoga? Yoga has its origin thousands of years ago in India, long before even the first religion or any belief system was born or the word 'hindu' struck the human mind. These distorted ideas about hinduism that you carry in your head are nothing but making our religion look crooked.
      In India we had sages like Bodhidharma who in 5th century went all the way to China to spread the knowledge of martial Arts and founded the Shaolin temple, today this discipline is practiced and taught as Shaolin kungfu around the world. Swami vivekanda, Osho, BKS Iyenger are few among numerous similar examples.
      Please atleast understand a little bit before commenting on such a subtle subject. Atleast for the sake of Maharishi Patanjali 🙏
      - Devender (A Hindu)
