thank you so much for this! this is pure gold! I did the 200htt but I was feeling unprepared because I did not learned this and felt pretty confused. thank you
Thank you, Rachel! What a gem of a channel you have! I have another request for you if you have time or desire to create a video on stretching hands, wrists and feet. I have a few students in my class that have wrist and feet issues. Thank you 💕
Nice to have you here! I’m taking a hiatus from TH-cam as my partner and I are on the road sharing his nerve tour talk… But I’m still teaching my online classes come to one sometime!
@@RachelScottYoga Definitely. I really love your authentic, fun, and eloquent delivery of your teachings! Much appreciated as I have been teaching fitness classes for decades, but Yoga is a different beast. I am still a newbie to teaching yoga (at this old age!) and it seems the deeper I go, the deeper I WANT to go. So I love when I come across an amazing teacher like you! :)
Thank you for video. I have question for you Rachel what is sequence of poses ? I am a bit confused. All your video is really helping me and preparing me for my next yoga teacher training which I will start soon.
Hi Adriana! Sequencing is how you put poses in order for the class and would include the poses that you choose, how you transition between them and what order you put them in :) Does that answer?
TQ for tips sharing as am struggling on how to create a better flow and ur video shown up :) It's really helpful esp for new teacher like me. Namatse ^^
Nice video, thanks for explaining it. Im a new yoga teacher and practising building flows, but it just takes sooo long. Can I ask, how long does it usally take you to create a 75 minute flow? I guess it gets faster over time? And, how often do you re-use a flow - do you teach a different flow everytime, or do you repeat flows after a period of time has passed? Thank you!
Hi Carolin! So glad that you asked, you may really like this blog: www.rachelyoga.com/2019/11/the-only-four-yoga-sequences-youll-ever-need/ I want to relieve you of the need to create new sequences every time you teach a class. Some styles of yoga do the same sequences - FOREVER. And they can be very powerful practices ~ I'd suggest that you build a flow, and teach that same flow - with some variations - for a couple weeks. Figure out what you can change and evolve...then move on and try something different. You can absolutely repeat sequences..repetition allows you to refine that sequence, become creative with modifications, and refine your language and timing. Also, you can focus on your teaching skills more because you're not having to constantly think about what comes next! And yes, all that said, it will get much faster over time :)
@@RachelScottYoga what a relieve indeed :) its a good article, thanks for sharing it. Makes a lot of sense. I will start working on my 4 sequences then. Have a good day!
@@HaoLe-qz9rc AH! Counter poses. These are poses that you do AFTER the peak, that help to re-balance the body from the class. For example, if you did a backbend as your peak, you would to a more mild forward fold as your counter pose to take the spine in the opposite direction. Also, these poses should try to release parts of the body that have been engaged, and potentially engage (gently) parts of the body that have been stretched ~
You're such a good educator. I love how organized and concise you are and the presentations are so engaging. So well done....thank you!

May I know what is culture poses? Thank you!
Hi Hao! Happy to help, but I'm not sure what you mean by culture poses?
Much thanks for your response. It is at 15:02 to 15:20
