This was a really fun trip. I almost didn't go cause I had so little time between rafting trips. But I'm so glad I did. When the work pays off like this it's the best feeling. Since the time of this video I have torn my Achilles tendon which makes me feel even more grateful for this day and proud of myself for getting out there. Thanks for watching!

NICE! I've got 4 steelhead on the fly but not there. Got a few there on the Cleo including smallmouth where that road ends driving.north. Surprised you didn't hook one. Great Job. Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎

Pike minnows eat salmon,trout and steelhead eggs best to remove them from our waters
@kerryguidry9457 yeah there are good arguments for killing them. But the way I see it, they are a native fish with just as much right to be there as any other. And more important to my decision making than that, when I've killed them in the past I've felt bad about it, so I don't kill them anymore.
That is so cool I love fly fishing. I didn't know you were a collegiate swimmer, I am a high school swimmer in washington. Any chance you swam at the washinton state 2a-4a meets?
@minnerisland0889 yeah! I raced 4A! Swam at Inglemoor high school if you know it? Held a state record in the 200 Medley Relay for a couple years! (I got carried). Lol I apologize for the bragging moment.
Anyway, good for you, swimming is so hard! And maybe it'll make you better at fly fishing!
@@Fisher_Munro that’s awesome hopefully I get carried too 😂 I have already had to go swimming to do some fishing lol. I have raced 4a state once with west valley in the 500 so hopefully I can make it again and I’m hoping to break the school record for Selah in the 500 🤘
