To be completely honest, if a person isn’t intentionally seeking the features of the Pro Max, the 14 Plus is the definite way to go! I’m on my Sierra Blue 14 Plus right now…I haven’t put it down yet! It’s beautiful! Built beyond well! Extremely fast! The average human eye won’t be able to notice the refresh rate…at moments it feels like Apple snuck in a variable rate because this thing flies. Everything is beautiful & smooth. The Pro Max has a glorified A15 Bionic (A16) with a 3rd camera & “120hz” refresh…other than that, the devices are identical down to the build, besides the materials, and let’s be honest, who really cares about stainless steel vs aluminum? It’s ALL PREMIUM. At the right spec, the 14 Plus prices right in line with the Pro Max. When you’re in the Apple tier of devices, it’s about taste, not power. They’re all going to out perform any other devices on the market, so pick your flavor & get jiggy! I LOVE MY 14 Plus!! 🔥💯
Yep 100% down to preference. I got the 14 pro max but I came from an iPhone 7 Plus so I think I would’ve loved any phone from XS Max onwards lol. I chose the 14 Pro Max as I never really upgrade until my phone gets really battered. That’s why I thought to myself I’m just gonna get the best phone they can offer since I’m spending quite a lot of money anyways. I think all these phones that come out these days are really well built and if u upgrade once in a while like I did then you will definitely appreciate more of what they can offer.

I love my 14 Plus, I could rave about this thing all day lol. This is the first year I didn't buy a pro phone and I was worried I wouldn't be happy with it, but it's really an excellent phone. I don't feel like I'm missing out on much at all, I never really used most of the pro features on my previous phones anyway. I _can_ tell the difference in the screens, mainly b/c 60hz doesn't make me sick. I found out that I get motion sickness from variable refresh rates after a few months with my old 13 pro, so no more pros for me unless Apple gives us the option to turn ProMotion fully OFF. Right now, they only let you limit it up to 60hz which unfortunately still makes me queasy. I can use my 14+ all day without any side effects though, so I hope they at least keep ProMotion to the pro line. I really wanted the dynamic island but hopefully next year the non-pro 15 will get it 🤞🏼Love the aluminum, no scratches or fingerprints and it's lighter than even the small pros, which doesn't seem like much but if you're holding your phone for a long time you do notice the weight. Unless you're dead-set on telephoto or any other pro-only features, just get this phone!

That was the priority for me! it's battery time! I don't care about 120hz or the third camera! Great phone! 11.5 hours of display time and 40% of the battery is still left. Uptime champion. And the video is great! 👏🏻🤛🏻

I got the 14 pro. But I honestly wish I waited for the plus. I had to turn it back to 60 htz, turned off 5G and turned off mail fetch all to get 7 hours sot. Out of the box with aod I was only getting about 4-4.5 hrs.
I got this in midnight on launch day and still currently waiting for Debrand to send me my Gripcase (bought based off of your review btw 👌). I think you hit the nail on the head about where this will sell. I got a deal on mine day one! I paying as much as I payed for my oneplus nord 2 5g 3 months after that launched 😂.
I got my rhino shield iPhone 14 pro max case, the magnet feels super strong it lifts my belkin MagSafe 3 in one charger. You should make a review on it
I have 14 Plus in Midnight 256GB after $800 trade in. It’s a solid device for users like myself who doesn’t care about the Pro features, the dynamic island and the Camera. The Battery life is amazing!! Very light and it’s pretty fast with 6GB of Ram. Planning to keep it for few years!! Basically I owe $200! Yes I could of get the Pro max but I like to save my money so 14 Plus is a win! Surprisingly recently it’s been the best selling iPhone now users like my self started to understand you don’t need an Pro max to get the best unless if your photographer, videographer or social media influencer then I understand that and the battery life on the Max is not great compared to last year 13 Pro max. I recommend anyone who wants bigger screen, truly long last battery life, and wants to save money 14 Plus won’t disappoint!

i got mine on release, i had the 8 before hand i had to get something nice for my birthday. its amazing and one of the biggest iphones ever, if you hate about it you are probably just broke, the quality of this phone is marvelous i would recommend to a friend or family member forsure.

I am very happy with the 14 Plus. It is a solid phone and has the features I use the most. The price? All iPhones are overpriced, particularly after they started taking away things that were included initially like charger and headphones. They even skimped out on Apple stickers from 2 to one now.
I came from a galaxy s21 ultra to this and the weight difference is so much better.

if the Plus has 120hz i would definitely get it and their colors, but i got the Max instead for that fresh rate it’s definitely see the difference
I got my purple 14 plus two days ago and I’m so happy I was able ton afford to get it from apple 🍎 it’s sooo worth it as I wanted and missed a bigger phone but didn’t wanna pay over 600 for the pro max. This is now my permanent phone 📱 til they stop the software updates for it like my iPhone 7 Plus I traded in for this phone. I upgraded from iPhone 12 purple so I’m super happy 😊

I think where apple messed up the worst was getting rid of the mini and replacing it with a more expensive phone. I genuinely feel that apple couldve priced the 14 like $50 more expensive than the mini, and the 14 plus $50 more than the regular 14, this way people could see the point of upgrading to an iphone (as the cheapest all screen iphone is still a banger) and the plus is cheaper than the competition (compared to galaxy s22 plus)
This year non pro models were unnecessary even if they never launched them nothing was going to be missed. And the lineup could've been 12,13mini,13,14pro,14pro max

You will use the telephoto more, once your son gets a little older and you want to snap a picture at the playground or at an event. At least thats when I started to use it more and more.

Here’s the thing.. reviewers are comparing this to a 14 pro max when “waste of money” is the topic. They try to avoid the one fact that this 14 plus should be compared to the 13 pro max which basically has the same price. And you can still get the 13 pro max brand new in authorized 3rd party stores. And for the same price, the 13 pro max has better build, better display, better cameras, better battery… hence why the 14 plus is being labeled as waste of money. There’s no reason to buy it when 13 pro max is available brand new. It even has the same chip. THATS THE REASON WHY ITS BEING LABELED AS WASTE OF MONEY. SO STOP COMPARING IT TO THE 14 PRO MAX WHICH IS CLEARLY MORE EXPENSIVE

As for the iPhone 14 plus 128 GB, it is 1380 euros. That's the price of the S 22 ultra with 256 GB.
As much as I love the iPhone, can anyone in their right mind take the iPhone 14 Plus next to the S 22 Ultra. (by the way, it currently comes with Samsung earbuds 2 for free). I don't like Samsung, but I'm just being realistic.
