Love what you’re doing Brian. You will continue to appeal to anyone interested in a relaxed style of video. I’m still using my Olympus but my main weapon now is my iPhone and I’ve moved to doing collage arty far*y stuff on my iPad but I still continue to eagerly await your next video. Love the ideas of your format going forward fella.
Good news. Love to hear it. Am looking to move myself - just not very far. I'm replacing my appartement with a little house of some kind with a garden. Depending on the location, I end up in, I might be able to do a bit of astrophotography and definitely some macro photography, so that's something to look forward to.
@@NPJensen I have not done much macro but on the few occasions I’ve tried it I enjoyed it. And of course that wide DOF of a M43 camera helps with the focusing on a macro shot
*LOL* 🤣🤣🤣 OK -- your crocs are OK -- I can understand the comfort factor. But be careful clambering over ruins -- whether in the UK or Cyprus -- you know, I'm pretty sure that Indiana Jones doesn't wear crocs when he's on an adventure!!! Keep doing what you're doing -- and enjoying it, and thank you for taking us along....
LOL. Brian, re crocs. A shoe brand called "Sketches" makes walking shoes, that looks like a pair of runners. However, when you slide your foot into it, the heel support does not press into the inside of the shoe. Very useful for us "young at heart" guys with diabetes.
@@oc2phish07 l to have been using Skechers for some time now, in fact the pair were so 'comfy' l bought another pair the next day....Diabetes was the main reason.
Hi Brian hope you're well. Looking forward to watching your future videos whatever direction they may take. I'm not a M43 user I'm a nikon full frame, sometimes a nikon crop sensor, sometimes a canon crop sensor and on the odd occasion a 35mm film user or a sony camcorder user. Photography isn't about the camera, it's about the fun using any camera. Best wishes stay safe Jon
Walk-about videos of places I have not seen before, are ALWAYS welcome Brian. As for my age, I am almost 77 and fit as a flea and very active. I also have a lot of cameras, 78 at last count, but I don't actually think that is too many. Loved this little video by the way and if I had not already subscribed, I would subscribe at once. Cheers Brian.
Brian..., Let me wish you the best as always! I feel today we chase the gear... Don't get me wrong how many times you put something to the test.. “ WHAT DO I WANT v WHAT DO I NEED .” At Times I don't need but there I go purchase made 😳😳I have MFT Nikon Z mirrorless and DSLR... Brian... Be yourself and go for it!!!! Good luck 👍👍🇺🇸 I feel the more we learn about art.. The how why and what moved you to take the photographs etc, etc
Lovely chatty and very frank video, Brian! I’m looking at Skechers too, or at least something I can shove my foot in with doing up laces. Not sure of Crocs. They have a tendency to grab you and eat you here.🙄🇦🇺
All the best with your move. You're very kind, UK is finished for all the reasons we're not allowed to mention. Re shoes, for any age open toe box flat shoes are best. Our use of closed narrow toe box and overly supported shoes has weakened our feet severely. Enjoy the Crocs. Re Diabetes. Type 2 can be dramatically reduced via cutting all Sugar, refined Carbs and keeping moving. Plus hydration is and will be very important. All the best in sunny Cypress!
After looking at the weather forecast for the next week, I've half a mind to follow you out to Cyprus and the 'nice light'. 😩 But I think work might wonder where I've gone. Maybe I'll make do with a bottle of vitamin D pills. On other matters: twenty-five people out of twelve and a half thousand are repulsed by having fun with photography rather than obsessing over camera specs. That's actually kind of encouraging. Judging by youtube comments, I'd have put the number closer to eleven thousand.
Camera dealers are absolute scum when it comes to buying equipment, I had an immaculate 2x FZ72's with the 1.7 Teleconverters for both and the most that camera shops were offering for each set was £40, went on ebay and nearly tripled that price for just one set. If you are going to sell stuff Brian do the ebay or FB market place because I'm quite sure your gear will be in great condition and worth more than what dealers will pay, after all you've got a couple of months left before you up sticks. Anyway best wishes from Yorkshire and I'm not jealous at all....even if I am lol.
In fairness, I won’t have a go at my dealer they’re pretty fair and on the converse side I trust them to get the best used equipment for me to buy off them. And there’s nothing forcing them to buy anything off their customers just because they sold them in the first place, they could offer me a tenner for my camera, that’s their prerogative but I don’t have to say yes. As you say, I can always chase a better deal elsewhere such as eBay.
