Great demo as usual. The piano and strings motif, tugged at my heart strings. Very nice beginner, gigging piano. If only it had proper line outs. The acoustic pianos, organ and strings sound good.
@@amusic9825 Are you saying this from trying it yourself, or from the video? Even if you did find it too bright, there should be a less bright patch you'll probably like better. My P-255 (not P-225) has CFiiis patches too, and I love them. Sometimes I prefer the "classical piano" patch. It is noticeably less bright than the other three piano patches, but might be too closed or dull for gigs in bands. The grand piano patch really cuts through, and it is supposed to. So do check the other piano patches on the P-145. Yamaha digital pianos are highly esteemed as home instruments and gigging instruments, so Yamaha must be getting something right.
Does anyone know if you can turn off local sounds on this piano when you want to use any sampler like Kontakt? I want to use a piano library but I dont know how to stop the local sounds.
I was able to turn off the local sounds through the Smart Pianist app by manually sliding the main volume balance down. It's a bit tedious to connect the piano first with the phone before connecting to the laptop but I guess it's better than nothing. I wish they implemented a local control function similar to their P125.
Is it possible to overwrite the default sound settings on the P145 without using the Smart Pianist so that it loads the configuration every time I turn the piano on?
Just bought one. Starting lessons on Wednesday. At age 70.
me 68
Wow are these all original pieces? I am in love with 5:40!
It's titled Glasgow Love Theme. First time I've heard of it was from a film called Love Actually.

They say it's for beginners , but the piano sounds super professional
The CFiiis is a fantastic piano and even provided the samples for pianos much higher up the Yamaha range, though most of those are discontinued now.
@@Zoco101Así es, CFIIIS fueron los primeros clavinovas de hace más de 15 años, ahora todo se basa en el CFX
@@ayrtoninchejanampa6874what’s the difference between between the two?
Super professional? It sounds so bright. Even cheaper keyboards have better sound than these.

Interesting - Light weight and solid range of sounds.
It's had bad reviews, but I still bought it.
Including Concert grand i'm loving it.
Miss you like crazy ❤ Great song. I noticed it! Ha ha.
Hello, planning to buy this week, do you have discount coupon or black friday sale I can use if ever? Thanks ahead!
Please post video about the newly released Yamaha P-525 Digital Piano.
Has the action improved? The GHS action on the P-45 is too slow, but strangely the GHS action is better on the P-125/P-121.
Can I get advices on the differences between P85 and P145 b? I would like to buy one for my son, but I don't know which one is better ?
P85 es bastante antiguo, es del 2007, a la larga será mejor el P145
Is it possible to transpose ?
Ive been looking for the answer for a more than 2 months now..
If anyone knows , please spare a second to answer

@@napoleonplzx Thank you very much! It worked well :)

My P-255 can do that, but I doubt that the P-145 is that sophisticated.
How do you add reverb
Is there a way to change the keys weight?
Who can you recomend in the midlands?
I'd far rather buy from enthusiasts such as your self than amazon,
The sound from its own inbuilt speakers or not? To much clear without any distortions ....marketing?
It has got much improved speakers though from p45
@@iammiturajlos altavoces del P145 son más brillantes que el del P45
Is that with it's own speakers or ext speakers?
Tiene altavoces incluidos
