Shen glitching out and Mystery Cheating reminds me of how my game will always say “ 3 is a crowd for romance” in a pop up when my sims are in a committed relationship, have been married the sim equivalent of 15 years and have 2 and a half kids lol. Like stop pls they aren’t fooling around game you are losing it sims 3.
For the work glitch with Shen, one of my sims randomly developed that same glitch one day and I fixed it by manually changing them into their work outfit first. Sometimes an outfit can be corrupted, but usually after manually changing once it fixes itself
omg about the percentage of death after the bar is full on an elder sim. one of my sims is currently 106 days old! my average sim lifespan is set to 95. i have no idea if she glitched but i told myself if she doesn't die by day 120 i will use nrass to trigger her death. but hearing it doesn't increase everyday is shocking. she's one lucky girl
The reason for Shen glitching out and not going to work is probably that you added him to your family while he was visiting. I read somewhere that foreign sims visiting are just copies of the "real" character abroad, and these copies come with limited functionality. If you marry the foreign sim in his or her homeland, you marry the "real person" with full functionality, and everything should be fine. :-) Just in case this is still puzzling people. I realize I am somewhat late to the party. :D
Thank you for posting this❣ I have been playing all TS games since their release (except for TS4, which I rarely touch, and barely own any DLC), and it is always good to learn something new (well not new, just a reason for a glitch). I remember having trouble too, because I always married while my foreign romances visited too. I forget how I handled it though. I am on my retro phase now, playing a bit of TS1, and my fav, TS2, but as soon as I get my third dedicated hd, I will get back to playing some TS3❣
🥺 i appreciate that i was the biggest fan of “the simbiote” and andrew arcade back in the day, tbh there’s so many awesome sims players out there! on my subscriptions page you can check out some of the channels i enjoy too! 🥰
So excited to be all caught up I actually started my own legacy bc I’ve been loving this so much ! Maybe if you don’t have it already you should get nraas traveler ? I’m not sure if it helps w the career thing but it does help with a lot of issues that happen with world adventures and traveling between worlds. I am a little worried what to do abt grim LMAO bc if Valentina tries to get with someone else I don’t think she’ll be able to propose or go steady? Bc she’s technically already in a relationship? I vaguely remember an interaction where another sim can like convince someone to break up with their partner. I know for a fact that if you moved in a lover they can flirt and then ask her to break up with grim lol but I think you could do it thro the friendly menu with one of her family members in the house if they’re close enough too.
yay keep me updated on your legacy! and ahh thats so true i never thought of that with valentina... i hope it wont be an issue in the future but i might be able to change their relationship with nraas if there are any issues (fingers crossed at least) And thats a good suggestion nraas travelller could help with the WA sims hmm 🤔
Oh boy, what an episode! Loved the editing. Marco probably has a lower chance of kicking the bucket because of his athletic skill, maybe he achieved the marathonrunner skill challenge? Best wishes for 2023 not Malcolm! Got any resolutions? I want to improve my cooking this year, because I got a little lazy with it in 2022. If only it was sims life and you could do alot of cooking and everything stayed fresh in the fridge.

@@NotMalcolm you have the best resollutions, but life has thrown me and my family a couple of hard things the past few years, so I want to keep mine achievable. Alltough I am sure there are a lot of happy moments coming for us this year and we will create them too. And I sure will enjoy them!
A lot of my sims are working in the medical career but I just found out about the determine gender interaction today from your legacy play, and I think it's a great detail! About the work glitch, I've experienced it a few times before, and what I always do is evict the household and move them back in, and it somehow fixes the issue 😄
