Well, that escalated quickly.
Makoto thought he was a hentai protagonist and ended up finding out he's just an idiot that gets himself and/or at least 2 other girls killed. Then there's his dad that was the actual hentai protagonist that seems to suffer 0 consequences.
His dad is also an immortal, able to control his aging rate (perhaps reverse even it) and know how to make a potion that cause child to start menstruating. Based on his very wide range of sexual age preferences, Makoto's little sister is well within his hit range especially if he use that potion but Overflow went bankrupt so we may never know if the next series staring him will feature Makoto's sister.

The identity of Makoto's mother has been known for some years now. She's in a very short game 0verflow released sometime ago in 2016 and she's a very pretty woman. Her name has been known for sometime (Moeko Itou) and she makes a very small appearance in Shiny Days (the summer days IRyS was talking about but Shiny Days is a remake of Summer Days). I'm not sure if there's been an updated family tree chart. Kotonoha's mother and father are pure and no involvement with the other families on the chart.
Makoto's father being infamous in the family tree it still doesn't make Makoto "the second worst" as that would go to his half-brother Ayumu Inou followed by Shun Hazama. Before them tho it really started with their granddad, Jou Inou (some English charts has his name mistakenly as Noboru Inou) married already got with a mistress thus Tomaru Sawagoe is born much to Mrs. Inou's dismay and anger when she found out. Tomaru is then raised separately by the mistress Ms. Sawagoe without the acknowledgement that Jou Inou is the father whose appearance in the game is said to be very similar to Tomaru. Sometime later when Tomaru attends Haramichuu middle school he falls for a girl named Moegi, this is the same school Makoto Itou and Otome Katou previously attended, this girl is Jou and Mrs. Inou's daughter which makes him her half-brother but neither of them know this having been raised separately from one another. Mrs. Inou finds out later forcing Jou Inou to acknowledge Tomaru as his son and ultimately separating the two but by then it was too late he had impregnating Moegi who gave birth to daughter named Kagura. Years later they get back together and have a son and this is where Ayumu Inou comes in. Later on these two have more children and it is where Sekai's mother, Youko Inou their 3rd daughter. Setsuna's mother, Mai Inou comes from her union with Shun Hazama.
Moegi inherits one of her father's restaurant (Snow Radish) and moves there to raise the children but doesn't tell them who their father is. Later on Moegi gets back with Tomaru where he uses it to pimp out his daughters to customers by turning Snow Radish to a brothel of sorts and underage prostitution. Moegi when she found out her relationship with Tomaru being half-brother she wasn't mad or anything neither when Tomaru impregnated their daughter and was also the enabler to him in turning Snow Radish to a brothel of sorts where he attempts to coax Kagura and a girl named Hatsuka into underage prostitution towards their customers. By the way, that daughter was obviously Kagura Inou who gave birth to her second child Mai Inou who is Setsuna's mother. In total Kagura Inou gives birth to 10 children and yes Tomaru father'd them and gets with some of them too. Two end up dying from child birth (Hajime Inou giving birth to Rio Inou and the same Rio Inou also dies giving birth to Risa Inou) and a 3rd possibly (Rina Inou and sister of Hajime Inou) dying from it but it's left unknown how she died. There's more but I ran out of motivation after remembering what happened to the Inou daughters.

School Days is bad, but one thing you can't say is that it isn't memorable. I will never forget about it, and all the additional messed up info found about that world will cement School Days somewhere in my memories.
I'm so glad that I watched school days without knowing anything about it and thinking it'd be an innocent love triangle story. I'd actually rank school days higher than any of those boring, harem romance animes just for its shock value and bravery.
The VN really is pretty wacky. Makoto’s dad had some weird eugenics program. One of the many reasons why Makoto tries to distance and protect his little sister

With how IRyS describes "School Days", this is one series that Twitter/X should not find its existence of. This is more mesed up than the optional bad route of "The Coffin of Andy and Leyley", and that was the focus of the freaks, not the murder, not the satanism, not the cannibalism.
It worries me how a Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War remake would be handled with today's sensibilities, since the story is built around disturbing subjects like incest and child murder.

I by the way for fun tried to make a family tree of that Sawagoe Family... the program crashed after 5 minutes complaining that Sawagoe was having a child with his own childs child
And the bad part - he literally gave that child a medicine to become fertile in an age where she was so young when she got pregnant, she died during child birth...

There is an old documentary called The Hollow, in 1975, in which a small hamlet in upstate New York has a population consisting of inbred people due to its extreme remoteness.
Anime makes it all look funny, but this and the Hapsburgs enabled us to see real documented evidence of how marrying off people in the same line can have devastating socioeconomic effects to downstream children.
Ah damn, one of the VNs is named Shiny Days? That's also the name of the first OP of Yuru Camp. I just hope I can listen to that song like before.
