I worked here as a waitress one season before I went to University when another girl did not show up! Must have been about 1969 ish. Beautiful house. I remember it well. Of course had to stay overnight as so remote. Memories…..
This is a great find. I came across this while doing some research on Google maps and could see this house on there, and wondered why it looked abandoned. Never would I have thought all of this stuff was still preserved in there. Thanks for bringing us along, It was great to see what was inside, it’s such a shame nobody is trying to preserve any of it though 😞
The box with all the cut out, was use for your very good silver table setting. In old houses that I’ve been in the silver caddy, would be kept on a side table the dining room. I hope that helps. Love the video.
Wow so looks like the house was inhabited and used by this very well to do / military family from at least the 1920’s to 1993 (going off the paper in the kitchen). … one thing you should always do it check food stuff packaging for dates as that’s the most accurate way to see when it was left and adds to the exploration video so much. Cheers for the great video tho mate :)

I really thought it would be completely empty looking from the outside of the property. What a lovely place inside, really homely still. You can imagine the 6ft of snow outside, really cold, and inside the fires blazing hot and you’re warm and cosy. Wow, there’s some lovely bits and bobs left over. Those papers I would want to read everyone. Thank you it’s a stunning place, and hopefully it’ll remain like this for many more years to come.

Hi, just seen the video of the abandoned graveyard. Loved it!! One suggestion, get a blue light it works really good to help you read the limestone headstones.
I looked up Sir Archibald Sinclair (recommended to understand the hunting lodge) & found a picture of him wearing the body armour that is in the upstairs room.
