Was going to say servants quarters by the lights my sons in laws own Scottish castle there spare kitchen has old range and meat hooks hanging up subbed 😊
If I come to Scotland, would you consider taking me to a couple of those abandoned places? I’m 65 but I can run circles around most 20 year olds so I can hold my own for an old lady. I would love to look through those beautiful places.
The paintings are incredible and I loved the porthole too! 😍 It's always so sad to see how someone's life has spiraled out of control like this. I feel like they may have gone through some kind of traumatic loss and their reaction was to not ever lose anything, ever again. Hope that you, Lisa and your little one are all doing well and having an awesome weekend Dale. 🙂💗

What really breaks my heart is all those beautiful antiques that will just rot. Not sure I could stop myself from saving some of them. I’m not a thief so I would have to do my best to find the family to try and purchase some of them before they just turn to dust! It’s just a crying shame. Not counting the beautiful home and trying to save it.
To anyone wanting to understand the history of that lot far better, then the most valuable item in that house was without doubt, the box of transparencies. Those slides would probably bring the owner and all that stuff very much to life!!

Lots of cool old bits, the porthole was cool. That painting of girl was very good but creepy at the same time. Thank you Dale for a other wonderful video. ❤ it
Hello and watching from Australia 🇦🇺 originally from Northern Ireland. I loved this , I find hoarders so interesting, but then I occasionally will have to work with them to organise and clean up their homes . It can be rewarding .
That round boat window is called a porthole. And normally with a horder they fill up a room with things they might need. When it's full they start on another till there's no space left. But what a place. Thanks for risking life and limb to film this place for us.
Wow that was a LOT of stuff! I imagine most of it will have been in piles and stacked but some people have thrown it all over and rummaged! Was there not one of those bees following you?! Also that painting of the girl on the landing was super creepy! The eyes looked like one of those paintings on a horror film where someone was looking through them spying on people!
That lady was so organized, that I don't think the mess matches the person. It's strange. Great video. Loved the old stuff. The wooden unit you saw is an old writing bureau. Should have looked in there, might have been loads of letters and stuff 😊
You just asked here the owner sit, well I meet a woman 92 living in her house like this. There was no where for me to sit. She hired me to pay her bills, my groceries ECT but would not let me clean or throw away ANYTHING not even old or new trash from food. She was retired school teacher didn't believe in a higher source or after life. She did come visit me when she passed away, her spirit that is. She promised to if she was wrong about her beliefs and and kept her word.
Great explore Dale, been missing you guys. How a place can sit abandoned for 20 years like that in what appears to be a town is beyond me, like why hasn't the municipality reclaimed it for back taxes?
Amazing explore Dale🥰 incredible intro!! I loved it!!! Sooooo much stuff!!! There were treasures in there !!! Thanks for braving it all!!! Enjoyed it!!!!🥰
I think everything was boxed and tidy stacked up originally but multiple people over years have ransacked and stolen the most accessible and valuable items quickly and left stuff everywhere, broke things and started fires maybe 😢
They have (or certainly used to have) glass, wood framed bee hives in the Kelvin Art Gallery in Glasgow... Pretty sure it was on the top floor....I was fascinated watching them fly in and out as a bairn.

17:38 Dale that’s an Architects drawing board. The metal moveable arms is for measuring and drawing plans. Used by Draftsmen too. These days all of this is done on computers

How much is hoarding, and how much is due to being trashed time after time, its amazing to think how difficult her life must have been.
I think it was mostly hoard to be honest , maybe 80 percent hoard 20 percent trashed
