Aloe Vera Powder: How Much to Put in Your Henna Recipes?

- Have you ever wondered what the appropriate amount of Aloe Vera is for your Henna recipe? While the exact amount won't make or break your henna hair color recipe, adding too much can dilute the color. Be careful of this especially when you have a lot of gray hair because we never want to dilute the color too much when grays can be resistant. Glad question 2 was asked. I have been adding 2 Tbsp of aloe vera per the past video posted with those details. I am glad for the clarification... I will correct this, although I've been on the 2 tablespoon track for a number of years. 😂 I am curious: Is it OK to use any pure organic aloe vera in henna, whether the form is powder, gel, or juice?
Ziziphus does have a waxy feel on the hair, but my hair loves it. I use 2 teaspoons of Aloe Vera powder with my Henna powder. I tried using one teaspoon, but my hair was feeling too dry.

My hair hates whole leaf aloe powder. If you include the skin, it has natural latex in it, that a lot of people are allergic to. I'm not, but my hair feels horrible using it. I have foud fresh inner filet juice to be do much better for me.
Tip: The difference between whole leaf powder & inner filet juice powder is color. Whole leaf is greenish-tan or brown. Inner leaf filet powder is either white or very light yellow.
Where do you buy filet juice powder?
Can I put some alovera gel with Henna powder along with water ? and soak it for 8 hrs ?
Hello! Aloe vera gel doesn't go well with coloring and 8 hrs is too long. We recommend 3-4 hours only

I'll be honest. I am not a fan of ziziphus. it makes my hair feel waxy.. I have cobweb fine hair and it is way too much I gave all of my ziziphus to a coworker who is super happy with it. it has added so much to her curls.

Hello. Unfortunately not, as the Aloe Vera gel form doesn’t work well for coloring. The indigo is very fussy and ideally Aloe Vera powder helps it perform best. We hope this helps!
