can't believe I didn't see this sooner, Xenoblade chronicles 3 means so much to me as I played it while I was going through a really bad break up but this game helped me get through it and I'm still friends with my ex because of this game and to me this song perfectly encapsulates all of that and I had genuine tears while watching this. amazing cover

I can't hear this and not tear up, the ending to Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was beautiful, this series has become my 3rd favourite of all time, the stories they told the characters they made are all special to me from all 3 of the games I love it and will miss them if this is the end of the Klaus saga and all I can say is thank you Monolith Soft and Nintendo

Can we get a Xenoblade musical, Nintendo? Anime sounds cool, but could you imagine?!
Only TRUE adaptation issue I can see with 3 specifically is N and M in scenes with Noah and Mio.
They can get a different actor between Zanza/Klaus and Shulk, it isn’t as lore dependent that they MUST be identical.
That would be reaaaally cool to be honest 🤔 Especially considering how amazing the music of Xenoblade games are, I’d love to see a full fledge musical with a live orchestra as well! In general getting more musicals of video games would be amazing.
@@xyewii Persona 5 had a musical adaptation, and IIRC it got more praise than the anime that disappointed folks. However, I feel Xenoblade 1-3 would benefit from either in different ways, several moments in each of the 6 games are easy cliffhangers in a weekly serial format, and even midway points that would work as cour finales, and likely we would be getting hype fight scenes and emotional damage scenes full of sakuga highlights, banger openings/endings, and great score (Mitsuda scores anime too, see Dungeon Meshi credits). But also each game would benefit from a musical adaptation, in each game there are characters that could benefit from the characterization a song number can bring, and each character offers a different style.
Also solution to Noah and N is that Harry McEntire in live-action might be too mature for Noah, but they can take the liberty of N being older though immortal by casting McEntire, as that man has had experience in theatre, and it might be nice fan service. He has played in Spring Awakening over a decade ago, I'm not sure if he got to sing there, despite being a musical.

I must say, even though Xenoblade 3 is the fan-favorite of many, the ending didn't break me as much as 2 did.
Yet, this Cover managed to bring up the emotions I had when first finishing 3, which surprisingly enough the original song doesn't achieve

I saw your post on Reddit one year ago where you're asking for singers and artist to put forward this project. Today, I remembered that and I searched what happened with it. I have no words, I didn't know what are more incredible: the cover itself or the organitzation part to involve so many people in one single project and success. I love the singers choice and how well they fit in their characters, the art and the additional lyrics in the bridge (in the original song it was only instrumental, I think). I don't know if you are envolved in another project, if this is the case, I will looking forward to see it. Really, thank all you. (PD: Probably I commited some writting mistakes in this comment, English isn't my first language, sorry🙏)

4-:32-4:40 The art, instrumental, and vocals are amazing throughout, but I just want to highlight the choice to thin out the vocals to this pair for a second because that’s a stroke of genius, especially when paired with the choice to have the Ouroboros close out the song. Beautiful job.

At the moment, I haven’t made any concrete plans, but I have been considering doing a duet for A Step Away, and potentially a bigger project for Future Awaits!
Unfortunately these projects tends to take quite a long time to make (this one spanned over 10-11 months), so they definitely won’t be coming out anytime soon if I do decide to go ahead with any ideas :’)

Not sure if this counts, but Riku and Manana are in the postcard-esque illustration!
Actually one of the things I wanted to do, but we didn’t manage to get to for this project was include all the Heroes as vocalists! The intention was that there was a unique vocalist for each Hero and they got a small adlib part in the song. (This would have included Riku and Manana!)
Unfortunately I couldn’t gather up enough vocalists to do this, but in a way they are represented by the ‘Keves’ and ‘Agnus’ choirs who do the background vocals as well as sing as a part of the final big chorus. ( Please refer to the script for this, the Keves and Agnus choirs sing a call and response sequence in the second pre-chorus for example, and also sing their respective lyrical adlib in the final chorus. ( Keves sings a line from Beyond the Sky (XC1) and Agnus sings a line from One Last You (XC2)! )
