I just got my mold in the mail yesterday and I had to go back to check it was the right one. It looks a bit smaller than I thought yours was. Seems to be the same one. Can't wait to try them.

Jolie Oh they are a little over an inch maybe.I do have a larger size mild and there are different sizes available out there!I have never added scents to my crafts but I know you can but I really can’t tell you what to use because I’ve never done it!Just google it and I’m sure you’ll get some info on it!LOL

It looks so real. Where do you get your mold from?
I have a question. Ive found that when i store my faux desserts under a cake stand dome lid, they turn soft again and when i have put them in gift bags for purchase in my shop they do the same. Is this bound to happen due to.moisture or have i done something wrong? It's never the plaster of paris but just the spackle that softens. They always have over a week to dry. Help!
you can mix water and air dry clay to make a plaster like mixture to pour in the mold and instead of spakle u can use cornstarch and glue mixture

Hi I wanted to know what can I add to the Plaster of Paris to make it non breakable???
Nothing really!It’s just one of those things that if you drop it ,it will break like a tea cup!However smaller items don’t necessarily break.
I love your channel but because I did not want to bother painting the macaroons I decided to use Crayola Model Magic with Crayola markers.
I changed the clay into pastel colors with the markers and used a cookie cutter to cut my macaroons.
I am going to use the macaroons on top of a fake bake cake.
I do love your method but it is a little time consuming so after trying it your way I decided I no longer had the patience to paint them… lol

Plaster of Paris is something that you have to work with quick!There are videos on TH-cam that show you how to use it!One tip is to use warm water instead of cold and take your time sprinkling in the plaster of Paris but once it is mixed you have to pour in your molds quickly!

I prefer varnish!Especially if you make them out of model magic!You can also mix craft paint in your model magic and not seal them at all!

Hi Dawn, I made molds 2 years ago in Southern California and they turned out good in winter, but this week I made them twice and they crumbled. I'm in Washington more humid but was so sad. I dont know what is wrong. White silicon and cornstarch equal parts. 🤔 I let them dry overnight?
Oh I’m not sure !!Maybe a little less cornstarch.

I’ve never put spackle in molds but it should be fine.

I’m not sure what you mean?
I make the cookie part with model magic or plaster of Paris and I use lightweight spackle for the filling but you could use caulk.Does that help answer your question?

I love this! But just so you know these are Macaron not Macaroon. They are two different cookies. Macaron you make here are a French cookie made with almond flour. Macaroon is a cookie made out of coconut. Both delicious but very different cookies!

Not being a negative Nancy but these are called macaron a macaroon is made of egg whites and coconut only they sound similar but are different this one is pronounced ma-ca-ron
I pronounced it wrong and only realized a while after I made the vidoe!LOL
