As for the race, that game was crazy. I wish bosses were real.
The middle platform in that first boss actually adds a ton of challenge, since it means it is almost impossible to hit him anywhere other than at either end of the arena.
enemies waiting on every ledge you have to jump to takes all the fun out of the game as you stop running every 5 feet to look ahead.
I assume you die a lot in Mario games?
I'm not saying that to be rude... but running like a maniac leads to a lot of falling into pits or jumping into enemies from what I've seen in most people. Unless you already know the game.
@@Buglin_Burger7878 I do die a lot. No offense taken, it’s why I don’t really enjoy older 2D Mario games. In a run and jump style game, I get the most fun from fluidly navigating the world, and I don’t like how the 2D Mario games don’t show you enough of the world ahead to facilitate that smoothness without memorization. And I say that as someone who grew up with SMB3. I only started enjoying it once I memorized it.
Watched my first Simpleflips video today. He played a Super Mario World romhack where they placed an enemy every 8 tiles, and he miraculously managed to walk into every single enemy. Truly a god gamer!
