Never respond emotionally to police. Logic must prevail. Your battle is in the courtroom, not the street. If you believe that you can solve your problem on the street, you've already lost. Logic, logic, logic. The best piece of advice I have ever heard, this goes for your job and personal life. Leave your issues at home, if you can't, stay home.
Exactly, even if the officer is wrong, never fight the police on the street, take him or her to court and then sue for damages. Even if a person complies and the cops still arrest or hurt that person, they have a 99% greater chance of winning their case than if they fail to comply, because if a person fails to comply, then it's on them no matter what happens to them, and resisting arrest is a very serious charge. Best method of handling police encounters is to remain silent, remain civil and courteous but don't interact with the officers if you think that can incriminate you. Talk with a lawyer immediately. Don't consent to any unwarranted or illegal searches or seizures, but don't fight the officers if they still search you, take them to court. Ask for witnesses if necessary. Never resist even if you are right. If they ask you to put your hands up, put your hands up but don't talk. Show them your ID, insurance and registration if they ask you for identification. If you think your rights are being violated, record the cop if you can with a cell phone and document any injuries, and their names and badge number. But do not fight or resist. If they ask you to get out of the car, get out. If they ask you to open your window, open your window. Be polite but make a complaint if your rights are being violated. And people should never ever put themselves in a situation where they are purposely looking for trouble or looking for an opportunity to sue the police. We have rights to record a police officer from a safe distance if we see cops abusing their power but we should never interfere with their arrest. The point of recording and making complaints is to hold cops accountable if they mess up. That's a BIG difference than just coming in cop's way of them making an arrest and interfering with their investigation or looking for trouble, and it's crazy how so many people don't get it.

@@martinb99 Unless you're mentally insane there is no way you'd be peacefully walking down the road and suddenly push someone off a cliff. You could probably come up with 100 scenarios that never happened to say "One decision" but in real life there is cause and effect. Even in that situation, assuming you are of sound mind, there would have had to have been something to motivate you to do so. Say you're walking down the road in a bad mood. (1st bad decision) Then a random man starts hurling insults at you, and instead of walking away you participate in the argument and getting even more angry. (2nd decision) Finally your anger boils over and you push the man off a cliff and he dies. The final bad decision. Unless you are fully mentally insane with no concept of right or wrong or reality, there will always be a chain of smaller bad decisions that lead to your final one.
@@douglassmalls6934 “mentally insane” - are there some other types of insanity? Physically insane? Such gibberish. When the deputy told the 30 year old - "Your like 40 & still stealing, get a job". fricken hilarious.
What's crazy is that the deputy initially was so nice and actually gave the perp great advice in getting a job. Instead of immediately placing him in handcuffs and taking the suspect to jail, he wanted to try to help the guy change his mindset and help him get his life together so that he can have a second chance at the future, but the suspect got offended and started to fight the cop and even pulled out a gun at the officer. Disgusting. I am pretty sure he never worked before and doesn't want to work. Any person with some sort of decency and common sense, even being in a difficult situation, would have thanked the officer and got their act together, but he chose not to. Whatever happened to the double tap?

Moobs. That's why he took one in the head. 9mm and .40cal have a hard time bothering 30 years of fat.
Definitely tell the cops he has a gun, do NOT tell them to shoot him. Let them figure that out.
he had a gun in his hand , pointed towards a civilian. Every right to give that call
Yea you're such an expert🙄😂
Exactly.
Prayers for a decent recovery of the man shot. More than 2 officers, he shouldnt of been shot
He pulled a fucking handgun from his waistband. He was literally going to try and kill an officer, they only pulled theirs out after he did. He got what he deserved. Thankfully he's going to spend a long time in prison because, surprise surprise, he's a violent felon. That's why he chose to get violent. He doesn't deserve your sympathy
People will say he is innocent. I love how the deputy said get a job haha
I haven’t read anything of anyone saying he’s innocent. And many robberies are committed 25 to 45 year olds guys. So the fact that he’s in his 40s, comes to no surprise.
@@val13c59 look at the comments below people saying he shouldn’t of been shot
He should get a job as a cop.
@@val13c59 usual suspects
hes not black that's why no one thinks he's innocent
We need more of these arrests
The civilian should've stayed out of it! They had it under control!
Head shot ends up in hospital, someone needs to use different ammunition it seems. Give the emergency staff a break next time.
Thank you, OC sheriffs saving the day from criminals.
They did their sole purpose; protect oligarch property. Didn't have to be so disrespectful and rude, antagonizing the guy on top him already being punished the right way. But, perks of the job.
@@dishonoredundead I'm assuming you think the oligarchs are just gonna give up their property and life is going to return to the Garden of Eden without the police? Or are they just going to hire some even less-accountable thugs to keep the peace? Sometimes I really have to wonder what you liberals think life is supposed to be exactly.
@@BillyJack85 Don't waste time pointing out facts to a useless drip box.
@@dishonoredundead In my book, when you break the law a cop is allowed to be rude to you. Want politeness? Don't steal and don't try to murder cops.
🤣
This happens more frequently than people know. As an ex-cop, I have known colleagues that were faced with same scenario.
Thank you for serving your community. 👍🏻🇺🇲
I don't really like cops because of corruption and personal experiences but good story!
@@meatyboy8811 then don’t call 911 in an emergency
@@meatyboy8811 you better learn home defense then
And I mean pretty fucking fast

Shot in the head? Didnt think they were allowed to do it that way. Also, the gun was already pretty much secured.
In hectic situations like that, its better to be safe than sorry. In this scenario it was alright for them to shoot him in the head.
dope
Dang. That sucks for everyone involved. Lot of PTSD went down that day.
Not for the guy who threatened a police officer with a gun
