연일 시청률과 화제성에서 폭발적인 반응을 얻고 있는 tvN ‘미스터 션샤인’ OST에 대세 싱어송라이터 박원이 합류한다.
‘이방인’은 비참한 현실에 마주친 사랑은 과분한 꿈 같다는 내용을 담은 곡으로,
큰 고통이지만 오히려 달게 받겠다는 역설적인 사랑에 대한 노래이다.
연일 그대를 그리지만 또 바라만 보다 걸음을 멈추오’, ‘맴도는 그리움이 주는 괴로움마저 달게 받으리’,
‘후회로 가득한 내 삶에 그댄 덧없이 사라질 나를 감싸오’와 같은 가사로 애절함 마음을 담아내었다.
또한, 담담한 아쿠스틱 피아노와 콘트라베이스 연주로 시작되는 편곡은 곡의 긴장감을 유지하면서도 잔잔한 사랑의 고통을 적나라하게 표현했다.
여기에 섬세한 감성으로 마음을 울리는 박원의 보컬이 더해져 애틋함을 한층 배가시켰다.
특히, 제목 ‘이방인’은 조선에서 태어났으나 미국인의 신분으로 조선에 돌아온, 조선인에게 낯선 ‘유진 초이’ (이병헌)를 의미하기도 하며,
한편으로는 자신의 신분을 지우고 낭인이 된 ‘구동매’ (유연석), 일본으로 건너가 유학을 하고 돌아온 ‘김희성’ (변요한) 을 포함,
각자의 방법으로 격변하던 시대를 지난 세 남자 모두를 아우를 수 있는 제목이다.

인생 OST가 쏟아진 내 인생 드라마.. 구동매가 절을 찾아가 무릎을 꿇고 [고르고 골라 제일 날카로운 말로 애기씨를 베었습니다. 아프셨을까요!?] 라고 조용히 읊조리며 독백하는 장면과 함께 잔잔하게 흘러나오는 이 노래는 정말 ㅠㅠ 모든 장면과 연출 그리고 ost까지 완벽.

I love this kdrama. I cried so much watching this series. Even watching the music videos and shorts, i will still cry. I can really feel how the 5 main characters felt, the longing for the one they love, the desperation they feel falling in love in a time of war, the sacrifices they made for the one they love. How i wish people can love whole heartedly, unconditionally, desperately, like Ae Shin, Eugene, Dong Mae, Hee Sung and Kudo Hina.

It's been almost 2 years, I've watched more that 30 K-dramas AFTER Mr. Sunshine, and Mr. Sunshine still holds the nr. 1 drama in my heart. I come everyday to watch or listen something from this drama. I love it so much! I know that no kdrama or any series or movie will ever replace this one! I loved each and every episode. The emotions that I felt were MIXED. I felt EVERYTHING. Words aren't enough to describe this masterpiece!!!
Joana Maci just finished watching it yesterday and I must agree with you. Everything in this drama is meaningful. The history part is an eye opener, very heartbreaking

Eugene protecting her from the first encounter till his last breath. Such a pure romance between them two. Not a single kissing scene bcs they knew their hearts moving in the same pace. Such a beautiful story. I miss them.

The most favorite song in Mr. Sunshine. Such an emotional song, the melody is sad but contain a huge massage. I think this song fit for Dong Mae the best. He spend his whole life to protect the girl he loves,even he has to sacrifice him self, but in the end he is still just a stranger.

This drama is a big gigantic metaphor of Ai Shin re-presenting Korea at that time and the three guys each presenting a different side and how they tried to protect her. I find this drama a masterpiece especially how it ended.

@@danielunedotarigan5457 I've watched both and I must say Mr. Sunshine is definitely number 1 🥺 Ofc it differs for every person but at least for me, in term of writing, the acting, the casts, the romance, the chemistry, the friendship, the cinematography and everything, Mr Sunshine is truly a masterpiece. And I must say the ending and their love story are the saddest ever :(( Before this, imo Scarlet Heart is the saddest drama but Mr Sunshine has really surpassed it 🥺🥺 It's probably because I'm really attached to every single characters in MS and the tragic deaths are freaking heartbreaking 🥺 I'm still not over Eugene Choi and still has emotional breakdown 🥺☹️

나는 최애가 구동매여서 이 노래의 주인공은 구동매여야 한다고 생각했었는데 앨범 표지나 영상이 다 유진초이라서 당황
구동매가 뭘 하든 고애신은 '변절자'라고 생각할테니 본인은 한국인도, 일본인도 아닌 '이방인'이라고 느꼈을 것 같음.
끝까지 고애신의 선택을 받지 못한 것도 그렇고... 구동매가 제일 슬퍼

I really recommend this drama. It have a beautiful cinematography and the plot (for me) is also quite interesting. It also have a really nice romance going on, not to cheesy but not too bland. plus all the actors and actresses deliver the character really nicely and the ost is amazing.
A TOP TIER DRAMA ✨ I cried bucket of tears. It was painfully beautiful. The cast, ost, cinematography, poetic lines, plot, everything is just superb. It made a lasting impact in my heart. If you haven’t watch it, please do so but prepare tissues. 🤧❤️

무더운 여름이 지나가고 바람이 차가워질무렵 다시 들으러 왔습니다.
이 드라마보면서 장면마다 슬프기만 했었는데 동매 절에서 독백하는 장면에서 울었던ㅠ 동매가 너무 안 됐던 장면..첨부터 왠지 동매는 비극적인 결말일 것만 같은 느낌이 들었었는데 동매 독백씬 보고는 더 그 느낌이 강해진듯ㅠㅜ 게다가 예고편에서 고문씬도 나와서 맴찢....

I loved. This drama, and this is my favorite song, Park Won has this amazing jazzy voice and the “dirty piano” and bass on this song are amazing! Close your eyes and listen carefully as this song takes you on an amazing romantic ride. The drama and actors are superlative, the cinematography is sublime, all of hem come together to give you a heartbreak that will last for days. Even then it’s worthy of an Oscar.
