    Thank you Sir, for all the skilled stunts, and for playing in and starring in SO many westerns through the years.
    You obviously were the
    stuntman's stuntman, and if it weren't for your God-given athleticism and skills...
    many of Hollywood's classic westerns wouldn't have been possible.

    I got to do "American Outlaws" with Terry Leonard. Terry developed & did the Raiders stunt where he was dragged under the German truck. Terry did stunts for Yakima in the 60's & said Yakima was the first pro stuntman & probably the best who ever lived.

    Thry dont make em like that no more! What a legend! Greatest stuntman who ever lived. Men like this made America great! What an amazing life!

      He was my great great uncle. My mom Marcia canutt was his great niece. We got to see him one last time in 1979. He was already having some mental issue with repeating his past vs what he was doing in the present. I got to hold his academy award. The guy was amazing!!!

    He was a close friend of The Duke's. They revolutionized film fighting scenes along with many other techniques
