Very helpful, I am a huge chicken and watching your video was great. I just want to share that when taking injections now, if you are nervous like me you can ice the area ahead of time and get it a little numb first. This method helps me a lot. I don't do it now for the insulin, but I do use it for any of these auto injectors that fire quickly or some slowly. Thank you again!
Thanks so much. I just received my FreeStyle Libre 3 and your video helped me understand how to use it. BTW, my pharmacist was the person who recommended it to me. She is a wonderful healthcare provider.
Hi from the UK! I am just about to jump on the Libre method after more than 30 years of finger pricking, and I would like to thank you for a great video showing the ease in which you attach and connect everything together. My anxiety about it has completely disappeared due to your explanations. Thank you so much.😊
My wife had a lot of problems with the 3. We've had the big needle stay in her arm with the sensor. We had it stay with the applicator the way you described. And we had bleeding and had to remove it.
Thanks for sharing this! I have ordered libre 3 sensor and blucon. I ordered blucon just for predictions feature. My friend suggested me to use blucon with libre 3.
I was wondering if there is a difference in set up for the libre 3 and the libre 3 plus? My Dr just put me on the libre 3 plus waiting for it to be filled for pickup. I can't find anything for the libre 3 plus for some reason though. Thank you
How is FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor different from FreeStyle Libre 3 sensor? The FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor: - Can be worn up to 15 days - Is indicated for children 2 years and older - Works with Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) systems Whereas the FreeStyle Libre 3 sensor can be worn up to 14 days, is indicated for children 4 years and older, and does not work with AID systems. That's a good point! I checked online and here's what I'm seeing on the Dexcom US site for compatibility: iOS: 15.6, 15.6.1, 15.7, 16, 17, 17.0.1, 17.0.2, 17.0.3, 17.1, 17.1.1, 17.1.2, 17.2
I listened through your whole video to hear how to use the device that came with the package. Nit is lighter and easier than carrying my phone around. You neglected to cover it.

Pharmacists are great!! Ok I'm a little bias but I'm glad you have a good one by your side. All the best with your new device!
@@heypharmacist Thank you. Take care.
@@heypharmacist the libra 3 doesn't come with his own reader? Or must you use your phone as the reader?

Do you have to buy a new one after 14 days
A new sensor after 14 days yes

You should show how to activate the meter as well, not just the app
Very helpful- thank you!
Why doesn’t the freestyle libre three sensor come with an over patch?
Apparently they don't think it needs one in order to stay on. I didn't have any issues for the 14 days and I definitely hit things, swam, etc.
@@heypharmacistI sauna/steam daily. Will I be ok doing this?
How would this work if you have muscles? I feel as it would be more difficult since you’d have less fat.
excellent video
thank you!
It said that you can order it for free where do I go and order it for free?
Sometimes you can get a sample, many time they're available after speaking with your doctor
Thank You for all the information you supplied. 😅
You are very welcome!
did not address the IOS version that is compatible with freestyle libre 3. I have IOS version 17.7 but it does not seem to work!

Why no videos are showing a small plastic cover on the needle. I used it without removing and my sensor is useless now as it did not prick inside.
I'm not sure what small plastic cover you're referring to
that needle is huge!
It looks huge in the video, but I pressed the applicator hard into my arm and didn't feel anything!
Gracias.😊
De nada!
Why it is so expensive. What should do the lower and middle class people 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 like me.
Contact Abbott! They may be able to provide you some support
freestyle 3?? ken carson reference??
I couldn't pay attention to the application. I was lost in your eyes😅 I'll watch it again
lol!
You must be Canadian!
I am!
My arrow never moves…it’s always straight.
Interesting, perhaps try with another sensor
Beautiful well managed long black hair.
Haha! Why thank you :)
Libre3
yup!

Do you mean the reader? My box didn't come with the reader, I could only use my phone
