For the complaints about the white board, there is an invention called clothing customize PRO, it lets you use it in any room, spawn it sideways, upside down, however you want, and if you accidentally grab it it instantly snaps back to where it was. It also has tools to make straight lines, and perfect circles.

Ok so I'm a screen, I have to say something about the new controls. I'm glad they're adding a legacy option but I'm pretty sure there's a solution which could possibly resolve screen controls completely (meaning you never have to update it ever again). JUST LET US EDIT OUR OWN KEYBINDS. The controls are only confusing for new players and left-handed players (from what I've heard on discord). If we get the ability to just bind the keys/buttons OURSELVES then I'm sure everyone can be happy. It can help everyone find THEIR OWN comfortable way of playing on screen. Tbh, I feel bad for the left-handed PC players. Playing the way they currently do must feel very awkward Edit: the dual-wielding update alone was probably the best update for screens in rec room history (imo)

I really hope the "legacy controls" we will be given after the new ones drop will be as similar as possible to the current ones. I prefer these ones way more than how the new ones appear to be. Sure, they might be intuitive and easy to pick up for new players, but I'd argue that the accessibility comes at the cost of restriction. Personally, despite having never used an actual VR device in my life, Rec Room's current screen controls (at least on PS4 and mobile where I play) can get pretty close to that feeling of playing a VR game without using one, with freedom of control on both your hands at will whenever you want and the same controls and interactions for both of them, while the reworked controls feel "oversimplified" in a certain way, and catering mostly to average shooter players, which might be what the majority of the gaming community consists of right now. I really hope the "newest functions" legacy players might not be able to access won't be a big deal, because I surely will be using those controls after the update.
Instead of locking the entire custom shirt feature locked behind rr+ they should lock the ability to sell your shirts. It's already ridiculous enough that every decent looking piece of clothing is practically unobtainable for players who want to play a free to play game for free.
I remember them saying recently that they want to update the VR keyboard to the new UI which i seriously hope they don’t do, it’ll make typing fast ridiculously hard.
@@YourOdyssey Unfortunately that’ll always be the case for a good while because it’d be too difficult for the headset’s cameras to detect the quick finger movements needed for normal typing, and it wouldn’t feel natural for the person doing it either, since there would be no sense of touch to know if you missed a key or are even at the correct one. I just mean that i’m gonna be upset if they change the keyboard UI to the new UI which is notorious for being finicky with touch.
The only time I want to participate in a rec room contest it is postponed, lovely, ALSO I talked with trunks at the recent RR gallery and he said the gallery hub is making a return with all of the old 2022 galleries! He said within a few weeks, so based off of rec room time id say sometime this year, im unsure though, since he said all that was needed was to add the rooms to the hub and it was essentially complete! I've been in the gallery twice including this week and sometime like a month or two ago and I never got to see my first one since I took a break from Rec Room during that time. I'm excited to see where my cybertruck was placed. Also if you are interested I made The Karambit Collection for this weeks gallery, and I made a video on it! Its the 24 hours locked in my dorm :)
My friend, JustFrosty, actually did the terrain for OffTrack (3rd place in art). He did like 80% of the work for that map and he did amazingly well, I’m super proud of him and he deserves whatever recognition he gets. He’s putting his tokens in to convert it money- a couple hundred dollars I believe. I hope he does even better in the future, it makes me happy to see him finally succeed on something big ya know?

Irrelevant, and very minor, but I think that Rec Room got rid of controller vibration on the boards while drawing. This effects me greatly due to one of the only things I play Rec Room for is drawing.
Unpopular opinion: I don’t care that shirts are RR+ exclusive. It’s a premium feature, and as you mentioned, if you can sell it you need RR+. People need to stop getting so mad just because they have to pay $8 a month to unlock a premium service.
