The lead singers in this were Barbara Weathers and David Lewis , but Atlantic Starr was the whole band , lead singers , musicians, one of the most legendary R&B/ Soul band of the late 70’s and 80’s, with many hits.
Never heard this live, but one of my favorite songs ever when I was a terrible guy. I used it to romanticize being a cheater. It's not romantic. It is cruel. Just break up. I hate the message, but I was (regrettably) "that dude" in my youth. Honestly hate myself for that deceit. It hurt the other person so badly, that I will never forgive myself. Still, it is one of my favorite songs ever. And a great reaction.
Divorce tells you it’s not! Divorce is not possible without some affection that has been taken away and given to another, and to equally do it would damage the other one in the unbalance of their feelings! God is right about adultery, yet who is listening to God!!
