Center of gravity differs from bow to bow, I think up bow is more controllable than down bow. Paganini actually used a Baroque bow even though the Francois Torte bows were in common use in his time. Adam Beanstock
Paganini even played with a steel bow at some point. He might have liked Arcus bows if he would live today; power of a Tourte with the agility of a baroque bow.
@@violinlounge Hi Zlata, nearly two years I had procedure done to my right wrist ,I didn't think I would be able to play the violin again then now I am determined to try all types of bowing to get maximum movement from my wrist and fingers . The most difficult part about playing the violin is co ordination between left and right hand at speed, which I am trying to work my way up towards in a controlled way. Adam Beanstock.
What violin bowing technique do you want to learn about in my next video?
