This is the first reaction I've seen where they understood that the finger thing isn't a quirk at all. Nice! A couple have guessed it's related to the quirk singularity but some people thought erasure wasn't working properly.
It's not "Double erase". Aizawa doesn't work at all even if it indicates that it is activated. Aizawa needed his two working eyes to erase a quirk. It doesn't work if it's only one. That's why it's mistranslation when he said " My Erasure is barely working" because it doesn't AT ALL. And it made sense when he said he wouldn't be any help in this battle. He was only there so that Copy's timer is on constant reset so he could continuesly use Aizawa's quirk.

And the Fact the Deku isn’t where he’s SUPPOSED to be, makes the situation even more DIRE!!! and makes the heroes WAY weaker than they thought they would be!!!
