the mountains you could see were probabally The Berwyns. the brecons are a little too far away to the south. camp in a tent not in a van, your journey will be far more awesome. you will wake up right in the thick of it. i shall give you a new sub. caer carradog and the lawley are well worth a visit in this area too. for more insight in shropshire , a youtube shopshire hillwalks is very good too.

Its great up there. Im lucky i live close by in Shrewsbury and its only 15mins by train. Every time i go i find something new
