The Historic's were out in numbers at the Plains Rally last weekend, Please enjoy this footage of some real classics through the forest stages of North Wales!

Those tracks are shocking, great footage, but those bends are not fit for a rally car, more like offroad course. I bet some cars were damaged, drivers scared of opening it on some sections.

Yeah the ground on that hairpin got chewed up pretty bad, I believe they applied a speed limit to slow drivers down through that section from stage 3/4 onwards, better than canceling I suppose! The scooby got a puncture on the straight leading up to it, very surprised It didn’t claim a few sumps 😬

💯 Very high standard of filming. And rallying. Giving it the beans. Wonder if the organisers got feedback about the roughness. These are splendid, and precious historics after all.🤔

Thank you! 😊 Was a great event, I believe they enforced a limit through that section after stage 3 for the historic and 2wd classes, the 'gravel' got chewed up pretty bad in the morning! The modern 4wd seemed to still be flying so either they didnt get the restrictions or they just didnt care, either way it was great to watch 😅
