I started hand washing again because we're potty training, so I usually rinse my flats and pockets right away whenever possible, I like rubbing my diapers instead of using the plunger method so I let them soak for 15 minutes with persil and hot water,they come out soooo clean.
Yeah I joined a cloth diaper group and they said because of my old washing machine J have to use a plunger! I haven’t done that yet and need to wash diapers today! I’m pregnant so trying to find an easier way....
Traditinally you take parts of the cloth into each hands and rub together you get best aggitation that way . Im from south america living in the west indies so we have access to alot of outdoor space sun and traditional ways of hand washing for best results .and hanging outdoors .nice video 😊😊
I'm wondering if any of you Canadians have tried using the no name brand of powdered laundry detergent for washing your diapers? My husband uses it for his super dirty work laundry and it seems to do the job. I just wondered if anyone has tried it for diapers specifically. My son has sensitive skin so I'm hoping it isn't too harsh for him.

My mother grew up in the Caribbean and had to hand wash in rivers. It amazes me watching her hand wash some clothes still

Make sure you keep all your flats and any prefolds you will love them for dusting and cleaning rags

Yes I have! It works well! I now prefer unscented laundry soap, vut I have used no name before and it works great.
The question is not "how to" wash by hand but "WHY"
