Have you rethought about painting the built-in bookshelf at the bar? I'm wondering if once everything else is painted, (doors and built-ins) if it's going to look like you want... I'm just thinking while/when/if the painters are there... do it all at once!

I love fall and winter but after a few below freezing temps I’m ready for it to warm up. We had a pretty good snow right around Christmas last year and I sat in a dark room while looking out the window at the snow coming down. It was dark outside and there was such a glow from The snow falling and what was collecting on the ground. There were no cars on my road and everything was just magical. I sure hope that happens again this year so I can enjoy the feeling and the view. 😍 Your place seems very warm and welcoming and I know it’s even more so in person. Thank you for sharing. 🤗

My husband just mentioned to me the other night that him & I still have NOT watched ALL of the Harry Potter movies yet and we should do that so we are actually going to start that tonight. I light a candle and turn on a TH-cam winter scene with a crackling fire while I work -- sometimes Christmas music, too. We are big _Charlie Brown Christmas_ music fans. Have you tried hot tea with coffee creamer? My husband, who is English and knows his tea (LOL), makes me decaf tea with creamer in it throughout the day. So tasty! Love y'all! ❄️🎅❤️

Have u tried putting one of those window screens up on the car window? The sun shade things? Maybe it will help him to nap in the car cuz it will block out some of the distraction? Just an idea! 😊
Simply beautiful! But how do you keep lexi (cat) off/out of the tree? We have two and they chew on the green part of the tree and climb in it, they are almost 14 years old now and still do it. Ive resorted to a small tree on the fireplace mantel but i miss the big tree. Please share with us how you keep her out of it? Thank you and Merry Christmas early

I watched Zoe here on YT, and I am going to do this too, because I am missing a few decorations, is label each box for one room, like Living Room, Bedroom, and put only those things in that box ... so next year you will not lose them ...

Why aren't you utilizing the tops of the shelves in the living room? Huge objects could fit up there. You could have the most gorgeous plants in ghat house with do many top shelves. Philodendrons are the easiest to grow, you'd have the most beautiful vines

If you get some fairy lights (some have timers on them)they will add more dimension to your decorations.
