When I heard that Aurora was doing a song for Frozen 2, this is what I was *actually* excited for, and I am not disappointed
I love the PATD! Version but God damn it! This fits the the theme of the movie better 😭😭 if this played in the end credits with the effects of like frost covering windows or leaves and stuff!! If fits more because this is like a more ethereal version in which matches Elsa's current circumstance in which she is now living in Atahallan and the Enchanted forest. She is basically a magical entity now in true form.

It's weird but this song could have easily been an aurora's composition. She sings like she really feels every inch of the song, every little note has its importance in her voice, every word is sincerily meant. Moreover, the song talks about something we know and we love within Aurora. The need the flee to a more beautiful place, different and purer than our world but also the voice that says that she is stuck in her humain being state and that her place is with the people she loves. But how can we love if there is always a part of us that hides, if we cannot be truly ourselves because we have an animal or just different soul than others? That's the chalenge of Aurora and of everybody who feels like her, to try to balance all that and live with it. This constant fight that the song is just talking about!

This has a much more Norwegian ring to it. It's like a lullaby and a spell chant all in one. She has a voice so alluring and mysterious it makes you want to listen for hours without getting bored. If you didn't believe in sirens before, you believe in them now.

The first time I heard of AURORA was when one of her songs popped up in the sidebar of my screen. At first I didn't think much of it, I thought it was just another artist who pretty much sounds the same as everyone else. This is the first song I'v heard her sing. I had no clue how much of this amazing talent I was missing.
