It’s because California is expensive because a lot of people want to be there. Most the people leaving are doing it for $ reasons regardless of what they say. If it wasn’t desirable it would be cheaper. Texas doesn’t have state income tax, but they tax the fuck out your property. It’s way more expensive to insure a car in Texas. If you don’t want your window smashed once a year don’t live in Bay Area or LA. The weather is phenomenal so of course house less people prefer it. I think that's why Obama was hesitant and slow to support Biden, and why he endorsed Hillary Clinton in 2016. I think it's possible that Obama knew or at least suspected some of the influence peddling and other stuff going on with the Biden family. If Biden ran, it would eventually come out, possibly coming back on Obama. If Hillary won, the Biden family doings would have silently slipped into obscurity and disappeared.
