Barack is likely a libertarian, but you don't become president by calling yourself that, so you must pick a side.

in both 2008 and 2012, i think regardless of which candidate had won the presidency, the winner would have done great things for the country. obama, mccain, and romney were all candidates who had good ideas of their own and wanted to serve the country. now we have biden, who means well but given the debate last night really does not have the energy for this job anymore, and trump, someone who only cares for himself and avoiding accountability.
Romney was also well spoken and presidental. Both of them were. Obama handled it good, but I'm sure Romney would have been good choice as well.
